:/ My opinion is: Mortiking: Lovely, I like it a lot, and the thin lines make it look more...detailed (as someone mentioned earlier). The darkonite: It's alright, the legs are very good though, it looks to cranky for me. And finally, the escalade: Everyone keeps saying they hate thick line art, but the escalade is pretty thick compared to the mortiking.:/ That's just my opinion...it may be the first escalade I don't like.;o;

There's something a bit off and almost unnatural in the darkonite's pose...but other than that I LOVE THEM ALL. The color scheme...the markings and design. I can't imagine how hard it must be to shade some of the 'ice' bits. But it looks utterly beautiful. The coloring and shading is amazing too. Thanks for working so hard on these great pets! :3

As for outlines, I personally like the "inbetween" outlines most pets have. It's a nice mix, not too thick, but thick enough that it looks like a fantasy animal.

Oh, to the people who think I rated the Darkonite and Escalade badly because they were an 'unpopular' and 'unlikable' species, are terribly wrong. I don't care about popularity, I like what I like. And I had already stated in the beginning that I was looking forward to the Glacier Darkonite and Escalade and is why I was sad about the way they ended up turning out. I never once said they were stupid, ugly, or OMG! I HATE THEM!!!!eleven! I stated what I found what I thought was wrong and stated it as such and in a kindly manner.

I do not critique on a new color based on whether I love or hate a species, thank you.

On another note: I love these, esp the darkonite, I look forward to seeing more. ^.^ Personally, I like thinner lineart seems to be able to allow more creativity and make the image look less stiff. Thicker lineart usually seems more basic, like for 'common' colors. Although.... another nifty thing is to have some parts thicker and some thinner to where you can barely see the lineart, might be good with this color as it looks ...'whispy' for lack of better term. Thats just a thought though, but it always looked unique to me...^^

I agree the mortiking rocks!...but...i have an ice potion and im debating wether or not i chould change my Beloved ColdFire to Glacier...he galactic now. and i like the galactic. ...what should i do?

I find the Darkonite's posing very awkward.

And I love the thick lineart - although I agree that it should be consistent with the other pets.

I generally don't like thick line art either, but you NEED to thicken the lines if you want to blend the colors together properly, otherwise it looks like you drew it in grey lead, then went over in color. Looks stupid.

I still am totally disappointed with the laziness in the Mortiking, who has a boring pose almost identical to common pose. It looks like it's smoking rather then breathing a wisp, and smoking is nothing to be promoted. Ew. O-o From real life, I don't ever remember breath from the cold going down and curving around and looking like like cigar smoke that's traveling up. I do like the thin lines, the are better, and harder rather then thick lazy lines.

I refuse to get a glacier pet unless I find a bucket, which is apparently never going to happen. You'd think with a 50/50 chance, I'd have made it past the first page more than...twice now. xD

I hate thick line art. With any type of art, it doesn't matter the artist. Thick line art is nasty in my opinion. The thinner it is, i think the better. Thick line art is for lazy people, in my opinion. Thin line art takes time and accuracy. i absolutely LOVE the glacier pets because of that. Not to mention their designs are gorgeous and everything. Glacier pets = best out of them all. The line art is absolutely beautiful and i Love it, the coloring is amazing, the designs are amazing, and i love the frozen/icy effect on each one. I just absolutely LOVE it. and thick line art would ruin the glacier pets in my opinion. keep 'em thin.

Well, if you like the thinner line art, then you're probably going to be very disappointed with upcoming revamps, since most of the old thin line art is getting thrown in the crapper.

I don't agree that so-called consistent artwork looks better or more professional. Actually, I'm not sure that going for a professional look on a site like subeta would be a good thing. Well-drawn art, yes... but professional brings something different to mind for me. Maybe some people like the thicker lines and some people like the thinner lines... if you really hate something you can always get someone from the Imagination board to tweak it for you for your own profile picture

I hate the inconsistencies with the lineart. That very thin lineart always really bothers me, and makes me think the quality isn't as good as the thicker lined pets. Most of the pets have thicker lines, so it just doesn't really work in my opinion.

I love Mortikings, and while this one is apathetic, it looks softer, cuter, and less violent. I'd make Shunkaku one if I didn't have her personality planned out as a GY.

I think the reason less people like these is because they aren't as popular as say, the kumos, tigrean, or montre. Even if the artwork were perfect, people would still critique/complain, etc, because everyone's different and is entitled to their own opinion. I personally don't like these particular species, but I think they look very nice. ^^ Next time, I suggest releasing popular pets along with the less common ones, therefore creating a mix of what most people really want and what a few people with the other pets want.
