My ONLY request is that when the Anyu one is made that it look as Polar Bear as possible ^^ .. I have been waiting forever for the PERFECT color to make LooneysPolarBear and this is the perfect color.. But as I said I wish it to look as Polar Bear as possible and then I will be the happiest person alive.

I've just read the people below (should have read them first I suppose)....I presumed that all the glacial artwork was done in advance of the release and then released in batches to create suspense....not drawn on the demand of users....perhaps an artist could clear up this point?

"kid you not, I haven't gone past two clicks then oh no," I haven't gotten past 1 click in the last 2 days I think. Very frustrating, I'd like to get at least a couple steps into it to see the pretty scenery but still having bad luck.

Archan, sometimes a little consistency is good, especially when it comes to the line art. It looks more professional that way.
A lot of pets and items have been revamped because the lines were 'too think' or 'too fuzzy'. Why should the Escalade be any different?
There's a difference between image consistency, and style. Each artist has a different style. Rah for example makes her pets look fluffy and chubby (which is cute and good a lot of the time! Not insulting), DNA'S are tough muscular pets, and Arbors have a bit of elegance to them. Different styles. (There are of course other artists, and I'm sorry for not mentioning you)
However, all those artist's line art are consistent. The lines are thinner and non-fuzzy. It is in no way conformity. It's professional.
Cor, you made a very good point (very long, but very good). Before a pet is released, it should be checked over. Are the lines too thin or too thick? Is it lacking in color? Etc.
I'd rather wait, and have a great looking pet then getting pets chucked out at me, and the quality isn't what it could be.
I hope I wasn't offensive to any of the artists. You do a fabulous job and you try your best to please all of us.

I like the darkonite best of the three. I love the half-lidded eyes, and the the slightly raised right front paw. I don't really like the thick ice horns, but that's more a matter of personal taste and not the quality of the art, per se. I think the quality of the darkonite is very good. I can't really say much about the other two because I am not a fan of those species and so I'm not a very good judge of them.I don't know why people are complaining about lack of uniformity. Why would we want all the pets to look alike? Personally I enjoy the different styles. If I want cookie-cutter pets that all look alike, I know of another site where I can get them o_0. One of the best things about subeta is the individuality and creativity in the art department.

People like me are to blame for the rush job. We are impatient and they get sick of hearing us. I try to keep my mouth shut, but sometimes I am a idiot. But they should have actually waited to release this news until more were drawn. But that is just my opinion. STaff don't take offense please.

So far my favorites are in the following order. Kerubi, Mortiking, Tigrean. I wasnt interested in Kerubis at all until I saw the galcier Kerubi. Mortikings I do like and I like this one A LOT as well. Tigreans are on of my favorite pets on Subeta.

How many artist did these? It seems there were atleast three or maybe just 1 who took breaks in between sittings? I love the Darkonite's glass or ice head with the crack. It makes it special.

Outside of the slightly heavy line on the Escalade, I think they all look nice, all 10 released so far, and I'm waiting with bated breath for a Glacier Wyllop (Nuclear Wyllop too, for that matter).

"too bad I can't get further than two clicks before getting lost" I managed to get 1 bucket of water a few days ago & since then I can't get further than one click. Or am I just having really bad luck? Well, at least I have a glacier potion in my vault waiting for the Glacier Feli.

I love how you can actually tell that the Darkonite has hooves on it's back feet. It's drawn very nicely! And I love the Mortiking, too! The escalade is sexy (lol, what?) but it's lines are too thick.

I agree, though. I do think they're a bit rushed. The art styles I have been seeing haven't been of consistency, either.

You've got pet revamps that look almost lifelike and then you've got pets that look opposite of that. What happened to the consistent style Subeta once had?

Now, don't get me wrong. The artwork's been very nice and I love how these Glacial pets have that moody, sassy air to them.

What bothers me is that the art's no longer of consistency. The Escalade's lineart isn't too thrilling, for one. To me, the lines look thick and blurry. Kind of a disappointment from the previous Escaldades, which looked splendid. pokes her Bloodred one The Darkonite seems to be on the opposite side of the spectrum, with it's lineart being a bit too thin for my taste.

From what I'm seeing, I get the feeling that the artists are being slightly overused.

Sometimes I do feel it's more about meeting the quota instead of having the artist's take their own time. (Yes, I know about the quotas, and I know their importance. All I'm saying is that sometimes the fear of not meeting the quota and losing their job as Artist overrides the potential and true quality the artist can bring out) You know, quantity over quality isn't always a good thing. I liked it better when I saw two pets that I was impressed with than seeing all these pets, released in batches, and not having much to say without making myself sound horrible. (I can differentiate bewteen the styles, and I'm not saying that before this batch the Artists were forced to whip up a new set of pets within 12 hours. No. That's not what I'm trying to bring out. I HIGHLY doubt that's how the Art Department runs) All I'm trying to say is that the philosophy of 'quantity over quality' isn't going to shape the fate of this site. 'Quality of quanity' WILL. I understand the jump in users. I understand the urge to release more things so people will have the desire to play Subeta longer. I just wish that everything didn't look like it was quickly whipped up.

I don't want to get the daunting image of seeing the artists feel so rushed and hurried. I'm not saying that "Oh, Subeta should go back to it's old days." No. I've seen this site grow. And I encourage it's growth every last bit. Along with growth comes change. Maybe I'm just disappointed about the recent changes. I don't know, there's been many things that have made me feel unsure about things. No, I'm not a Subeta veteran. I don't think being here for almost two years has reached such a level. Nonetheless, I've been here long enough to see change. That's what matters.

I'm just throwing in my input. I know I sounded a /bit/ harsh and un-constructive, but I know this is a whole LOT better than saying "LOL these pets suck." These artists have potential and I know it. That's why they were hired. Now I need to see that potential brought out. (You know, pressure does things to you, and I know it really gets to the artistic mind)

Preeeetty good, but not nearly as much as the first few. The Sheeta, Kumos, Mortiking, Kerubi, Montre, Telenine, and Tigrean look fantastic. I think you guys are (maybe) rushing it a little, because the potion is in such great demand. Take your time, we're patient. =3

Because Darkonites AREN'T the ugliest pet in my opinion. I think they're beautiful and mysterious creatures. Which is why I own two of them.

Not wanting to be a negative Nancy on my part, but I honestly can say that these three are nowhere near as good as the last six that I've seen It's a real shame, considering Darkonites are my third favorite species and Escalades are really high on my list too. (I have them as pets.) This latest batch seems to be rushed and I honestly think they could have looked even more awesome than the last six if more time was put into them.

I guess I could start with the best looking of this three, the Mortiking. I like it other than the fact it looks extremely bored or tired, like he's just attempted to climb the summit of the K2 Mountain. But it looks pretty good for a Mortiking.

The Darkonite, the facial expression is perfect! Nice and smug the way a Darkonite should be. Sadly, this is the only good quality I can find. It looks really hastily drawn and more 2-D, like the older time drawings. The icicles on its tail doesn't look as real as the ones, say on the Montre. And something about the horns bug me. It sorta looks like someone went a little crazy with a carving knife and ice pick.

Now the Escalade... I am very disappointed with it. ;_; I had hoped it would look so wonderful that I would change my OkuriInu into it, but I suppose not. It doesn't appear to me that it's supposed to be made of ice, and the part where there are actual icicles, its head, just has the appearance of someone taking a sledge hammer and beating its 'helmet' until it was crushed into this odd form. The outer lines are too thick, and with the way it's sitting, gives its right back leg the appearance of being broken. It's so sad...

My apologies to the artist(s) that spent alot of time and effort drawing these, but I know that these species had the potential of looking much greater than they are appearing. You can get mad or upset if you wish, but that's my opinion and constructive criticism. Normally, I find most of the art great, but sadly, this is not the case.

I also apologize that this post of mine is alot bigger than expected. O_o

I like how you can see the brain through the ice on the Darkonite and...that's about it. : D I dunno, there is yet to be a pet I actually own that comes in this color and my Glacier Potion has been rotting in my Manchu's treasures. XD So here's hoping that there's more pets in this color coming soon.

I agree with them looking kinda rushed. So far the Kumos is the only one that really seems like it got a lot of attention. I kinda wish the linework was more uniform between them all, though.

I love that darkonite! Wow, attitude problem! It looks like "Oh, its you. Pshhh". lol.
I am so fond of the icy details, but the pose is a little plain. But I still adore the picture 120%
The line art is so nice and thin, unlike the Escalade which has really thick black lines.
Not that the Ecalade is bad, but it's not my favorite. I really like the ice bracelet thingy.
The Mortiking is good looking too. I'm loving the thin line art again, and I love his ice-spikes. I would have expected a wee bit of a snarl though from him, but I suppose Glacier doesn't do that XD.

And you tell 'em Headbang. Some people need to be a little more constructive, and a little less critical. No one forced anyone's pet to magically change into a Darkonite, so there's really no need to... be like that. If there's a new pet you don't like, mention the ones you do and ignore the other? Don't just bring negativity to the table if you can't bring a cup of kindness.
