No, the current Trivia always said current name. Also, the News isn't a "where", where implies a place. And there are many different words and symbols on Atebus, where specifically can only be Galaxan Wastelands.

Wow. I have no idea what this one is, but I got the last one in, like, 5 minutes. Using FIREFOX. Of course, I had already seen the in the wastelands place before...ALSO while using FF.

So, uh, yeah. .__. Chill, people. IE or FF or any other browser, it doesn't matter - you just have to know how to look. (Or, ya' know, already know what the answer is, of course. ;3 )

In a February news post Keith used that icon () so that is what I answered. Very specifically I might add. I obviously did not have the answer they were looking for, but the smiley was used on that news post also. (I think it was Feb 5th). I am bummed that I didn't win the cool minion, but i'll get over it as there is more to life than pixels. I just think the question wasn't the best one to ask as it seemed to favor IE users and there were technically multiple answers. Just my opinions/feelings. I support the staff 100% in their decision to pull the question early and I truly feel they do the very best job they can to make this site fun and entertaining as well as as fair as possible. Glitches and mistakes happen. I for one appreciate the open dialog between staff and users and therefore am trying not to come across as whining or complaining...just making observations from my perspective.

Oh but Alraune, you just contradicted yourself. Or did you not read the question carefully enough, because it states "Where SPECIFICALLY on the site might you see this ..." SPECIFICALLY. It never said which "page" you see it on. In that case, it's implied that you should be as specific as possible. What does it matter that you can't actually enter "Galaxan Wastelands"?

The trivia actually was unfair since it gave IE users a huge advantage no wonder some people were angry about it.
I myself found it in IE in less than 5 minutes after searching for hours if firefox.
I really respect the staff and the hard work they put into the site but there's no denying that they made a mistake this time.
People have the right to complain about this get over it!

Oh dear god,all you people whining about the browser thing just shut up.Geez.It doesn't matter the browser,my friend uses FF and I use IE and we both found it just fine.And there has been a trivia like this before where it asked where does it say "Uh oh,do not enter" and it's on the Atebus page but it was ON the Coda Caves,just like the was ON the Galaxan Wastelands.Lord Almighty.

Love to DebiLee and all the other admins who have to put up with this crap.I'm through now.

Wow people.
Just because you like other browsers over IE doesn't mean that everyone else does (or should) and it doesn't mean that anyone has to code for them. I use IE because I like it better.
And don't complain because you searched for hours. That's no ones fault.
Oh, and the trivia said "specifically" on the site. Atebus is somewhat general.

it did not say what page is it on it said where is it at and it is right over the wastelands so thats where it is at if it asked what page then you would have been right .and people like me would be wrong .but if i had got it wrong id of let it go awhile ago

I second what Tehfusion said. I went through the same Firefox/Opera/other browser crap, then finally went to IE when I read comments in the last trivia news update about people complaining over the whole IE thing. Then I found it, put Atebus as the answer, since thats -where- it is. You can't get to the Galaxan Wastelands page. You got the "" when you were on ATEBUS.
Sorry, I'm just.. really upset. .__. I really wanted that minion.

Subeta needs to pay attention to web standards. Internet Explorer certainly isn't the only browser in the world, nor is the best (definitely not). So why code specifically for it? Web standards, please.
Alt text is meant for the text displayed when an image is not available, and that is why it didn't appear in the mouse-over text in any normal browser. The correct property to use would have been title text.
I found it after hours of searching in Opera, and then hours of searching in Internet Explorer, and I put the logical answer. I put Atebus, and got it wrong. That should have been accepted. I'm disgusted that it wasn't - no, I don't really care for the prize, it's the principal. The trivia asked where you see '' - and you see it ON THE ATEBUS PAGE. Damn it.

Kajza, you didn't HAVE too.. Apparantly it just made the work a little easier. I found it in FF through alot of work. I think people giving away clues is what led to so many being awarded. But I got this one, so yeah I think it was easy.. Cute riddle though.

The galaxy pets are very popular, so the price will naturally be inflated since so many users want one for their pet's minion. And I know there's posts about this already, but the Trivia wasn't that difficult to figure out if you knew how to use Properties. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out how to use your own browser. : /

I thought this one was pretty easy, I just hoped I selected the right term.

As for all the people complaining about the last trivia, you need to get a grip. It is ONE trivia. About five or so trivias are posted every week, so move on with your life that is obviously so horrible because you don't have some PIXELS you wanted. Besides, I too use Firefox, and I heard that it was easier to find in IE, so I tried finding it in IE. Still no luck. Just because some people have IE and others don't doesn't mean the people with IE are going to get it; it was still quite difficult. Besides, just because you don't have IE doesn't mean you can't solve the trivia without looking at the properties; if you use "My Computer" or "Recycle Bin" and type in a website name, it works like IE.

And for those not complaing about the "unfairness," but about the cost, just wait a week or two. Considering 800 of the Astra-things were awarded, there only reason they could be so expensive is because it is so saught after and because it came from "the unfair trivia."

So yeah.

Anyway, I liked this new trivia. If I get it right I need 8 more correct answers instead of nine.

Life isn't fair, and crap happens. Get over it now, please? Since I'm sure 428985295859289 people wanted that last prize, no matter WHAT had happened someone would've been sitting around and crooning about how unfair it was.

There are around 800 of the things. 800.
If you want one and you didn't win it, do what any sane, non-whiny person would do and go buy one on trades.
Crying about how unfair it was even though some people both with AND without IE managed to figure it out is not going to make us reinstate the prize, or go "Oh, I'm so sorry, here, you can have one ", okay?

Woo Glad i got it right!! The way i found mine was in firefox, i used properties to search the areas! Galaxan Wastelands happened to be the very first place i tried and BAM there it was!

There is paying customers though Thevoicesareme. It would be better at this point if the staff member who runs the Trivia do another trivia with the same prize as the previous trivia because in all honesty, it was not fair on the people who cannot use IE or just don't want to use IE. I understand that the staff members may not be aware of this fact but they should take this into concideration next time.

I feel like lots of people here have no respect for the staff. No one has to run this site. It is a privilage that it exists. It takes lots of time, money and effort to keep it running. I greatly respect those who keep this site running. Not everything goes as planned. They are not responsible for problems that you system has or any issue that arise with your internet browser of choice. If you don't like how things are ran, go somewhere else. It is not like you pay to take part in this site.

After all it is only a game, and you guys are getting upset over a few pixels. The staff is not responsible for high prices on items. The users do that. It is supply and demand. It happens in real life too.
