I like the revamp's body, and shading, and such, but I DO wish the face and expression were more similar to the original Demi's.

I think this revamp is stunning. It looks much more realistic than the original, and the shading is just beautiful. I do agree that maybe it should be smiling just a little bit, but I think that the artist has done so much already to make everyone happy that I don't want to be nitpicky.
I don't think the revamp leans towards looking like a particular gender, or has a pre-set personality. I think it leaves the owner with all the freedom they need to create an original character out of their pet. I would love for my Kirei to look like this and I hope the demi gets revamped soon.
I must say I like this version much better than the old one. The shading and the more realistic rendering are stunning.
I've been considering elixir'ing Augie into a demi, and if this is what they're going to end up looking like, I have no further doubts -thumbs up-

I absolutely HATE, I repeat HATE the new design. 0_0 I don't want my poor Mintaroo to look like that! It looks stupid. (Just an opinion) I don't want to be harsh to the artists cause most of their art is great, but I just think this is terrible.
This new Demi looks so sad, perhaps a happy face would do it good ^^
I personally prefer the old Demi, because..... to me the new ones all look round and feminine. I like the way the old ones are all spiky. I suppose there is a bit of bias in this, as I have a male Demi, but.... go ahead, make your choices everyone.

i prefer the old demi. If they changed the rest but left the eyes it would be okay. I really chose the demi because of it's eyes and mischevious smile and i would hate if those were gone.

Flikkan, that is /really/ rude. Real people draw these pets and I'm sure they don't appreciate that comment. The news said constructive criticism, and that's not being very constructive.
I for one think the new demi is a very beautiful pet and I hope it's revamped very soon as I'd like to turn my pet Irvin into one.

I do like this one a lot better then the first one. I just miss the smile.Not sure what but something about the tail still bothers me about it. I might be fussy because demis were one of my favourites and what got me started on subeta in the first place, but in this revamp its the smile and the tail that bothers me most. As I said I don't know what it is but the tail just bothers me =/
This one's better than the other re-draws I've seen .. but the face still seems way too flat and it really bothers me. Demis have always been one of my favorite pets, but I just think it looks a bit odd. I can't quite place what it is though.

well this version is certainly much better than the first one the only thing that still bothers me a bit is that the legs and the tail are a bit far from the body unlike the old demi.Oh and I think the tail might look cuter if it was a bit shorter and bigger at the end like the old one (if that made any sense X3)

Hopes Tsume is still around to read this The thing that is still keeping me from voting for this new version is the triangular shape of the eyes. I think a rounder shape will help it regain the feel of the original Demi design.
I still prefer the old one but that's partly because I had a parade of demi's for a while. This one is much closer to the original than the first and second redraws. thumbs up Good job Tsume (uh I forget your new name).

I did kinda like the last redraw better...but this is good too. 
Just can't wait to see the other colors.
My biggest objection to the new design is the eyes. They are too wide vertically and we lose that nice almond shape that they have in the old design. Also, the shoulders seem a bit too wide.
yes the new demi is beautiful but I love how the old one looks cute be dangerous because of how if fur is and how pointy is all round figure is, but he's so innocent at the same time :3

It looks far more innocent (the old one) Where I think the new one is adding some more realistic characters to the subeta family. I mean, we all came here for cute pets, and we should keep 'em cute! (Unless your a bloodred sort, or mutant...)

Poor artist(s)! I'm not sure whether the versions of the demi were drawn by more than one person or not, nor do I know who drew them, but I do know that you must have an incredible amount of patience to keep redrawing over and over again!
Since there is so much confusion over which demi is best, perhaps instead of putting only two versions of demi in each poll, just put all of the versions into one? Then it would be easy to tell which of the many versions is most popular.
I like this new one! It's cute! Tobe honest, I hated the first redraw, and the second still bothered me a little, but this one is MUCH better, just from the little details that were changed. I do agree that this one's expression might be a bit too... somber compared to the original (which happens to suit my demi perfectly, but I can see why others are upset) so perhaps giving it a slight smirk would be the way to go, and I dunno... maybe lower its left eybrow (like it's quirking the right) to give it more of a bemused kind of character to its face.
In any case, I think the redraw has come a long way and I would not mind in the least if this one were to go through as is. A good job to everyone involved, I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates the tremendous amount of work that has been put into this redraw. Thank you!
I like it, but I think the eyes coming to a point makes it look a bit strange. Maybe round them out a bit? I also thing that the chest kind of just sticks out too much, maybe it would look better if the stomach was a little more filled in. I do feel bad for the people who have demis and spent a lot on them but don't like the new look, and it should be taken into consideration that many of the people voting don't have demis.
Meow: Then they can just...not make a demi?^^ But I guess the smile isn't /that/ important. As for the tale, it looks a little stiff, but I don't mind it anymore.
I see a several slight problems, but nothing that absolutely must be changed, just things I've noticed.
My major peeve is the "elbow" of the closest foreleg. The way the fluff is positioned and the closeness of the hind leg, I cannot help but see a fold in the stomach, giving the demi a rather horrible pot belly.
As well, the shadow on the muzzle to me seems to give the idea of a smile, the curve looks like it is following an upturned mouth. Right now it looks awkward, as the mouth is not smiling and the muscles are.
The feet also don't seem flat on the ground, both front feet are slightly twisted in. Adding a bit more of a paw, rather than having the bottom of the arm slope evenly to the tip of the toes would be helpful.
I love the furry shadows, those are a great improvement. The horn is cute. It is nicely androgynous, though I think a slight smile wouldn't be out of place. Most pets have a default of "Happy" and I don't think that is a bad thing. Applying your own personality is important, but you will never satisfy everyone and I'll guess more people have their demi's with a happy (or at least capable of smiling) attitude than with blank slightly frightened expression as it has now.
I'm also not sure if I like the position of the three dots on the hind leg, but I don't know quite how to fix that as the pose is so different (that is, anatomically correct) from the original to this version.
Lastly, the fur on the tail goes backwards at the bottom, that seems awfully... Weird.
I hope I don't seem harsh, I really do like this version (never saw the attraction of the old demi), but I'm trying to give the artist a few things to think about. Getting rid of those little tiny irritants that prevent people from getting a pet (in my case, it would be the pot belly) is important. I'm a great nitpick, that's why I rarely draw myself.
It is fantastic overall, keep up the great art. =)
