If and When this is revamped, im hoping the bloodred version will not be like the current version. It dries me nuts that the newer bloodred pets looking nothing like the older ones, if that makes since at all?

Free that escalade from its shackles, the older one looks like it has markings on its feet while the new one has what looks like cuffs strapped around its feet. Second of all, the newest version has either gone blind or lost its eyes. That's all I have to say and I don't mean to seem like a stick in the mud.

Oh, one last thing. I do love, however, the shine and new colour of the armour. That was a really good move.

While I like the art, I don't think it fits the species. It lacks the majesty of the former creature, and doesn't fit my pet's personality much at all. I don't really like how it's missing it's back spine. I'm alright with a revamp, but not one that looks so... feminine, with the head of a ninja-turtle, no less.
And that's my two cents. .______.

I voted for the old one.

This new one is nice, but I think it looks far more feminine then Iâ€™d like. Iâ€™m also slightly worried that the tails seem to be being blown towards the body while the rest of the fur covering its body it simply lying down and flat. Maybe thatâ€™s just me though? I do, how ever, love the colouring style, even though Iâ€™m not entirely sure about the pose itself.

It is good - I agree with silver that my first thought about the face was "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" but that doesn't mean it isn't really nice on the revamp, which it is. I can't wait to see it in newer colors as the style is better suited to subeta's color options - there can be more flexibilty with making parts of it's body different colors (ex. some arid pets have plum colored parts like eyes, feet or something else). Nice job and good courage on the artists part on all revamps for manifesting change no matter who likes it or not!

Hmm. My two cents. I never really liked or like Escalades. I really like the hair andhow it flows witht he contours of the body, as oposed to simply stickingout. I don't like the feet, but hey, I didn't like the feet of the old version eigher-I just don't do elephantish feet. As for the head, I have to agree withthe others, I feel it's a bit small (or maybe it just an illusion), but it instantly reminds me TMNT. Eventhe color and the eyes.
I do love the shine on the helmet/armour thing on its head though, espeecially on the leg guards it uses. I think it's a bit better than the old version, definitely. The legs are in synch, it's more anatomically correct too.

well, it definately is nicely drawn and the shading is awesome...but I still voted old, I liked the old ones paws alot more, they were not so elephantish..sharper, but really, it isn't a bad redraw at all, it's really nice art

It's a curious revamp, and I think it's been due for a while from responses of the other people here, but I personally enjoy the old version more. I just can't get past the feeling that people are only liking it 'cause it's more shiny or something. Just my $.02.

I voted for the new one, Why?

Well the old one, no offense, but it was so sticky. Like when I saw it I thought of a line or a stick, also the posision wasn't the best, and the hair was.... like grass, straight and..... staight.

I like the new one, like Emay said, It's hair is all waving and stuff, way cool. The posision is alot better and it reminds me of a turtle, don't ask me why, I guess it's just the face. I like the new feet too.

I used to hate escalades. The style of art on it was NOT subeta... The mouth was weird. The pose was strange and the tails were stuck up.

But this makes me want one for so many reasons. The hair is beautiful and flowy. The eyes are really shiny and cute and the pose is just awesome.
<brnly one thing about the new one and that's I believe it's missing a tail, the old excalade used to have three.

I had been considering an Escalade, but I think I wouldn't want one now. I really did like the more adventurous look of the previous one as opposed to the fun look of this one.

And, yeah... I know see the Ninja Turtle resemblance. It's strange... this one went in the opposite direction that the Torrent revamp went. At least, in my opinion, it did.

I think the head's too small on this... :/ I voted new, but only because of more detailing. I think if you take the old design and detail it a bit more, it would look really nice.

Also, it may just be me, but it looks as if it's tipping over to the left a bit... like I could push it and it would fall over. I dunno.

Beautiful work though I do wish that the helmet was more like the older design ^-^ I think the back might need a bit more fluff on it as well as somehow it seems a little shallow. I would have also liked if the old tail designs were adapted as they made the Escalade somewhat more unique. Either way great work <33333

Yes, the horns are confusing... are they ears? They really look like it. And it does look kinda like a Ninja turtle with that smile, i agree it should be a smirk. A smirk would make it look more... mischevious. But other than that, I like it. The tails are cute.

Bah, this must have popped up right after I got off to go to sleep. Anyhow, couple things to say. collective groan from the audience

When I first saw it even before I read the other comments I thought, "wow the head is kind of small in comparison to the body, and... its a ninja turtle? Well, apparently I'm not the only one who thinks it. WIth its head facing as it is, makng its big snoggin so apparent, putting that grin on there just makes it instant TMNT. Perhaps trying turning the head a bit more and making the grin less'big' for lack of a better word, maybe more smirk-like.

The horns. I was always of the opinions the the helmet/head plate was a guard for it, and sort of for show as well, like a Samurai's demon mask. There were the three forward facing spikes (cheeks and forhead) and two back facing spikes, one on each side of the head. They'd been placed where the ears would have been on the old Escalade, and I'd pictured those as guards over the ears. This new spike configuration looks sort of like the spikes should be lined up one behind the other on the center of the back of the head.... So, does the Escalded have ears or not? I would hope it does, or we're going back to the whole Ninja Turtle thing again.... I would also like to see the forehead horn pointing forward again, instead of curling up and back, as now it looks like they melted a Mortiking Egg onto the helmet.

The Legs. Oh, I like how you've done the lag bands and positioned the legs. The hind legs expecially, no longer look like disjointed feet sort of... hanging there. And the shini-ness of the new metal bands is so spiffy. Yay, it looks really metalic now. And I don't mind the pose of the legs at all. Reminds me of the point a Setter goes into when it spots game. Well, in a slightly more relaxed form of "Yeah, its over there, so?" anyhow. Of course, I also think Setter due to the rather large amounts of foofy fur, which I adore, since I like Setters. And perhaps when the eventual redraw goes through, if I like it and the Sun is pretty red, I'll figure out how to get one and name it after my Irish Setter xD

Tails. I like how you've made them more fluffy and more 3-D, but as many others have already stated, it does look like they've been bent around and pinned to his hip. And I do believe the old Escalade had three or more tails, not two? That's one of the reasons why I had several Escalades in my stay at Subeta, I liked the pet with lots of tails. Perhaps take a stab at reposing the tails so their more splayed out behind the Escalade like they were on the old one. And maybe adding at least one more tail back?

Also, I neve really understood this, but could someone please explain to me what that spiky thing is on the back of the old Escalade? I never really understood that. Was it supposed to be a back plate of armor, or, what? I'm glad its gone whatever it was on this new redraw, as it rather didn't seem to fit on the old one.

Woo... long post. Sorry, but, that's my opinions on it. I'm voting for the old one on this one for now. The new one has some nice qualities, but there's some things that need to be tweaked on it first before I'd consider getting annother Escalade.

I love the body but the tails and head look off.
The head looks a bit small and too happy.
The horns on the back of the helmet are confusing...are the both meant to be on the back...or each on the sides? It looks like one of each.
The tails need to be in a different position...they look like a sideways butt if you look at them! XD <brther than that it is a beautiful quality and an excellent revamp.

I like the new escalade short of the change in horns, I LOVED how they ad the tri-horns pointing forward, it was bad arse, and I loved their old tails, they were like floppy paintbrushes D:

hmm... something doesn't sit right with me about this one, but I'm not sure what. The face looks... odd. I'm really not sure why. Maybe it's too cheery? The other one, while happy, looked more 'excited' about something, like he was ready to go base jumping or something... more adventurous. This one... he seems almost... childlike.

Definitely like the old one better.

I love the sheer motion of the redraw, and I do like both styles. It's my son's pet, though. We always fought over it, since I'm the only one who took care of it...heehee...if this redraw goes through, I won't mind caring for Cascade so much. ^^
The only thing that worries me is if the Feli gets revamped. 0.o;;;;
