Unfortunately, it seems subeta and the Kumos site are broken on Chrome for me. I did the password reset for Kumos when It was listed as mandatory, but I still cannot access melody on Kumos and going back to legacy subeta has me log in and directs me to kumos in an endless loop. I am only able access the site on other browsers which is very inconvenient, even after resetting passwords again. I am a little disappointed as it has been nearly 4 days since the problem started and we haven't had a new post addressing it. You guys always used to be so good about mentioning problems in news posts and assuring us everything would be okay, but now it seems like you guys are pretending the problem doesn't exist for the few of us who have voiced concerns.

How can someone login to update to their new email to get a password reset for Kumos? (since typing just the username gives an error that the account is not recognized)

Communication with users has always seemed to be a weak point on this website. was so great with communicating information when they were actively on staff, I hope that's something that can be improved in the future. I know it's a skill in and of itself and not convenient or easy. I hope to hear something about missed Melody/Bathhouse days, I missed Melody thru my own fault but my very small bathhouse streak seems to have reset during this kerfluffle.

Hey there. The site seems to be working again after a couple days. How do we go about getting the Melody items we missed because of the downtime and bathhouse streak set back to what I was up to?

I finally made it back in, mostly thanks to a link posted over on Kumos.

I had to delete all my saved passwords first, then use that link to get it to reset, then was able to create a new one and finally log back in. Unfortunately, two of the three days of Melody I missed were 2,500,000 sP items, so that was a pretty expensive downtime for me.

Yeah I think they mentioned the password reset is mandatory like a month or two ago to get into the Kumos site but it would be nice to have a new News post or Topic addressing how to do these things. Because in that previous post, it was definitely set up that Kumos seemed more of an optional thing until it's running properly. Also we have plenty of new users and returning players that likely never saw that post to know to even reference it to begin with.

This makes me sad. As your friend, I can say that I don't think anyone is going to question anyone for anything right now because 1. it's rude as heck (I will throw an egg at anyone that does that to you) and 2. there is several users affected by this error.

Have you tried a different browser? I'm able to log on through Kumos on my PC through Chrome and in a separate window open the OG site. I'm also able on my iphone on Safari to get on through a different window. I don't know if this will help you or not. It's still a pain to have to go through this process even if it does help you.

Your response might need a bit to load on the Kumos side of things but seems like that helped. (Currently idk why its not showing there)

Reported to Keith to get the one link to not redirect to a 404 and hopefully things will be back to "normal" well as normal as it can get lol. Definitely seems like a password reset is the fix to access Legacy Subeta and its content.

I'm unable to access any of the legacy Subeta content, so no clue how that is going to affect my tree, giving gifts, etc. Can only see things through the Kumos site.

Also unable to access the wardrobe too. Not sure what is happening to be honest and it's incredibly frustrating to have to deal with at this time of year. You couldn't have waited until after the holiday? >:c I love Subeta don't get me wrong, but this isn't working currently.

Ok so project kumos didn't think my email, username or password matched any of their credentials. Resetting my password fixed it.

i lost everything i worked on during the year, even melody i can forget... what about the bathhouse and the melody achievement... ?

the kumos site, login does not work... according to the system I don't exist... ( great ) but i used the button forgot password and tataaa... it worked...

i really don't know which dumbass had the idea to edit the site for christmas... we all know it; when subeta releases something new or works on something that works, our friends come... server error 404 and 500... so please, please... hands off any work for christmas... !! ;)

I just helped my kiddo log in after a runaround between sites. The login link in the top left corner of Kumos doesn't work, but if you scroll down past the spot to put in credentials, there is a "Forgot password?" link beside the submit (or whatever it said...login?) button that does take you to a site you can plug in your email and did work. Not sure if that is the same problem ya'll are/were having, but just thought I'd mention in case it could help! I hope they get this all sorted out soon. It's so random, I have not yet (luckily) been logged out of anything, yet my daughter sitting across the room from me had major problems with it.

Why do I have to log into a site that is still being built to buy CSC? I was going to join kumos a little later when things were smoothed out more, because I am the worst new site tester ever in that I really get irritated when things don't work :(

Well the Kumos site is linked to the original subeta site so once your logged into it ideally you should be able to access the original site just by opening up the original site once you are logged in to the Kumos site.

This isn't intuitive information though and it's still a complete pain to have to do all this and just to access the original site.

There could be cookie issues (involving the need to delete some cookies from your browser history) or perhaps even some different browser accessibility issues possibly who knows.

I think the work around right now is to reset your word through your email linked to your primary account here: https://kumos.subeta.net/login

Go to your email and use the reset link to update your kumos word and log in.

Then open a new tab to access the normal subeta site once it's linked.

Maybe you could try to file a ticket here if you have an issue with it or don't know the email: https://subeta.net/tickets.php Also Subeta is strict about one account per person so once it's sorted, it probably would be a smart idea to ask staff if self freezing is adequate enough for the second account.

I'm upset by all of this and I'm sure I speak for more than one person when I say that I hope staff is planning on addressing these continued issues further as soon as they are able. I understand it is the holidays.

I feel like there should be a better solution than having to rely on the Kumos site that is not fully functioning for every user.

It's obviously unfair for even a single user to be affected by these issues and miss out on these events that bring joy to these already stressful holidays.

I'm still locked out of purchasing CSC and it's affecting Subeta's overall profits and preventing me from completing all the trees and giving I have planned on this holiday. I work the weekend so I may just not be able to get half my friends anything and that frankly is not fair either.

It would be nice to have an updated response on this issue by staff.

Maybe it's a case-by-case issue, but have you guys tried logging in with your browser's private mode? I'm thinking that mayyybe the fact that users can log on to Kumos but not Legacy Subeta is due to a cookie problem?

Scratch my last comment, was able to get the kumos pw reset link by using microsoft edge instead of firefox to request it. Coupled with the correct kumos log in link posted by Mort, I was able to log in. Hope this helps someone!

Cant log in my phone and had a heartattack cause it kept saying I wasnt part of the database. Had to reset it and log on my pc. Hope its fixed soon. I miss the old site it was easier and the shoutbox too.

weirdly i was able to login yesterday, but now today everything is logged out but kumos. main site says i'm not logged in, takes me to kumos.subeta.net/auth/login which gives me a 404, and auth.subeta.net redirects me to kumos.subeta.net/dashboard somehow (even though it's... kumos, lol), and nothing gets me logged-in to the main site. real headscratcher here!

The login link redirects to https://kumos.subeta.net/auth/login, but it's incorrect. It should be: https://kumos.subeta.net/login You'll then be able to log in and access the rest of Subeta successfully.

I can neither login nor change my password on kumos.subeta.net. I get a "404 not found" page all the time. I also cannot log in at work via subeta.net. I'm still logged in at home but once my browser kicks me I won't be able to login again. Nothing works for me right now. I really don't want to lose my account that way... :(
