The food trucks are back! There are no new items to the trucks but this is an excellent time to stock up on these delicious items. ;)
We’ve also brought back the food bowl so you can have a chance to get some cake-y old items.

Anybody know what items can go in to the food bowl? I've had lots of food items in my inventory that don't show up to throw in/ thanks for the tip but it didn't work, only link at the bottom is to return to the park.
I bought EVERYTHING from the food trucks for my future Gourmand Pet, whichever it will be. Also I checked the achievements just to realise that I will still need plenty of food from Alegarten as well. I never really bothered about the food achievements to be honest and now I'm feeling slightly stressed out.
Two events back to back , and nothing new for users that were here when items were initially released with previous events. BORING!!!! Just hey you can grab extras. I need new items to feed my pet please.

If you wanna know, that's their free sampler! You need to have Clams (the item called that works) in your inventory when you visit the Pasta Goddess, and there will be a link at the bottom you can click, and you will get the item :3

Yeah, I know about that option, but I have 80 items to feed my gourmand pet sitting in my inventory. I don't want to blow 2m on that.
Weird, I signed off at 11:30pm (at the latest) and signed back on around 7 or 8AM, and my pet was at 6/10 hunger.
I was able to get the Couch Potato achievement. It's taking a long time for my pet to get hunger though, so I have to wait to be able to feed the other foods to get the achievements.
Anyone else having a problem getting achievements? (taco tuesday, couch potato, impasta)

I tried the Eddie Bell Sure Bet line items because somebody said those worked, and they didn't for me. I got every other secret item, though. For the mustache one, I had to use a clip on mustache for it to work.
Q - With the food bowl, can you use items you have already that restock in those two shop? Or just direct buys?

is there any chance the requirements for the free samples will be updated? especially the one that asks for Eddie Bell collections but only takes the retired ones. The flavor text seems like it should accept all of them. I just had to drop like 3mil on one of those items when I was already wearing an Eddie Bell item, because the one I had they wouldn't recognize

i collect food items that appeal to me so I like this. I also enjoy doing achievements so if I can get some achievements during this event that would be peachy too. Thanks for having this news.

Yes this is normal, there has always been a timer between purchases on the food trucks. Thankfully each timer is tied to the specific food truck and not all of them collectively, so you can jump between them and eventually get everything.
Yes, that is normal, you are not guaranteed an item each time you throw something in, it's just a random chance.

I have a question. I never used any of the food trucks before. I noticed that you can purchase an item from each food truck and have the timer for your next item. Is that normal?
I completely forgot the Food Bowl was a thing. I obviously participated in the past because I have the items but it's like it's new again. And I thought I didn't have anything to look forward to with no new new items in the food trucks...now I'm going to be tossing a bunch of stuff into this giant bowl and getting excited about old items again lol

By the time I got to the 10th food truck it was almost time to start again!

According to that, the Eddie Bell Sweet Tooth and Sundae Best lines both work, so maybe it just has to be from any one of the sweet lines (I got mine with a Sweet Tooth item and can confirm that a Pizzazz item didn't work, so if a Sure Bet item worked, it probably isn't just related to age. I can also confirm it doesn't need to be a head layer item - I used the tank top)

Alright, I'm getting through this faster than I thought. It helps to buy something from each truck around the same time.
I'm a little late but I have everything I wanted out of the food trucks, so I don't mind buying some for you. Just send me a small list or something so I don't buy a double.
