The food trucks are back! There are no new items to the trucks but this is an excellent time to stock up on these delicious items. ;)
We’ve also brought back the food bowl so you can have a chance to get some cake-y old items.

Like said, I'm pretty sure these can only be obtained once. You can account search to see if you already have the items somewhere on your account.

Exact how to's: Obtained by visiting Meatosaurus while wearing a Mortiking item. Obtained by visiting Wok This Way with chopsticks in your inventory. Obtained by visiting Hipottu Spice while wearing a Hipottu item. Obtained by visiting Sweet Stuffed while wearing an Eddie Bell item. Obtained by visiting Veggikumora and donating a Ikumoradeekanox fruit. Obtained by visiting Let's Taco 'Bout It while wearing a mustache. Have Cheese in your inventory and visit the Grater Good Food Truck. Have Clams in your inventory and visit the Pasta Goddess Food Truck.
It's still a really tedious and unejoyable prospect considering I need all the items and am going to have to sit here with a 20 minute timer going for the next five days. 70/3 per hour = 23 hours altogether if I don't miss a single window, and I'll have to cram it into a much shorter window than the entire holiday.
I was hoping the secret items would reset between having the trucks, some people change which pets they feed, and some people might just want more than one anyway for whatever reason.
Also, I forgot to say earlier, but this is making me really hungry.

Like said, they’re not a guarantee to come back every year. They’ve been used in different festivals and holidays but they’re not officially attached to any. Random! We said in the starting news post these would be released about midway through the holiday. Like pointed out, the timer is based on food truck, not over all. So you can grab the drinks from each truck at the same time (or a few seconds between because we are human) and wait the 15/20 minutes to go to the next item you need.
i got the most items from the food bowl from throwing in Poopy Peanut Butter and Bottled Swamp Water... i'm so sorry but that cake is going to be straight DISCUSSING u_u
I think they've come back once or twice before since the Peka-boo festival, so they may come back again in the future. But we don't know exactly when they may come back again after this, so it's best to try to get as much as you need while you can. :)
Is the return on the food bowl random, or do we get something for every X number of items put in?

If people haven't realized it yet, the time limit is per truck. You can hit up more than one truck in 15/20 minutes.
I missed last year's and didn't realise there was a huge wait time to buy the items... maybe these should've been released at the start of the holiday, instead of the end.

No, I know what you meant . But people will already have extra time to get things with the extended days.
The wait times are 20 minutes for non gold accounts so you've already got a shortened time.
I meant the food truck wait times, couldn't it be 10 minutes rather than 15?
Thank you for bringing the food trucks back. One small issue-It seems when you click on a food on the menu it doesn't show the wishlist box around it, even if the item is on your wishlist. I don't mind using account search to see if I fed it to my pet already, but it would be much easier to know if it's on the wishlist.

Blarg to the wait times. Apperetly if you have a gold account they somehow cook your items faster??? I get the wait time is there to make it feel more authentic but if it takes 20 minutes to cook some meat I don't think shaving 5 minutes off makes sense. It's not like the items are in limited stock so I wish the wait times weren't even there. Wait times on stuff when there's not a limited stock for the entire site to share is frustrating.

Another note on the secret items, the Deep Fryer and Tater Time food trucks don't seem to have secret items for whatever reason. But all of the other trucks do.
