Fireside!

Hey y'all! It's time to huddle 'round the bonfire here in Veta, as the harvest is comin' to an end and we're ready to share the bounty with our beloved visitors and the spirit of the Red Rreign himself! Gather up Red Rreign items floating about and offer them up to the bonfire - y'all may find you come away with somethin' special! Be careful about throwing in the wrong items though, y'all could see a little bit of the Red Rreign's less relaxed side!

Y'all should take a trip over to Charity, too, with any spare food you have! She's collectin' it for the less fortunate, but she still does her best to give you little tokens of thanks as often as she can!

And last thing for today - we're mighty proud to announce a new pet color we went and discovered here in Veta! It appears the Red Rreign had something to do with it, the sweetie! Can you figure out how to get your hands on one of these new Harvest pets?

I just hope that we can still make the potion after Fireside, too. Maybe leave the bonfire open with a message similar to, "The Red Rreign has left for the year, but some of his magic has been left behind! Only one thing can be still blessed year-round. Can you figure out what it is?" That way potion prices won't be through the roof

I think that the recolour is brilliant. It makes total sense to have the Glade colour re-done into Harvest. Harvest time in the Glade! :D Autumn colours and the Reborn colour will be similar as you can have both during autumn. But they're still completely different as the Harvest has a lot more brown tones. Reborn is pure fire :)

You have to toss a Glade Potion into the Bonfire. I suppose that is still a bit pricey if you don't already have a Glade Potion on hand, but at least it isn't a random event like with the Tempest Potion.

As someone who lives in Vermont and goes to college in New Hampshire, I'm going to have to second Laevateinn's comment. Don't get me wrong, some of the edits in these comments are really nice (seriously, I mean that), but the ones the Subeta team created seem to be pretty accurate to me. I personally love this new color.

I was actually just thinking recently that it would be cool to have a pet with an autumn-themed treasure chest, but couldn't think of what color/species it would work for. Now I'm just wishing that my list of pets that I want wasn't so long already xD

Thank you so much for the Harvest pets!! I had to turn my Glade Kumos into a Harvest Kumos immediately. :) The colors are beautiful, and it's a wonderful representation of my favorite time of year.

He dances around the potion, covering it completely, and when you next see it it had changed color! The Red Rreign smiles at you, and disappears, leaving you with the Harvest Potion!

Not that I care so much about getting free items, but I noticed that the first few times I donated food to Charity, she gave me an item. Now I've donated several more, and just gotten virtual hugs. Is it a glitch, or is it supposed to be this way?

For a second I thought Sperio's edits were the actual pets and I just didn't see them right and was so excited. Yeah, I'm not understanding the orange... like REALLY orange bodies. I've been to the east coast and seen the beautiful changing colors of the leaves, but I live in a desert where we either have evergreens or very dull shades of brown. Luckily I'm not too much of a fan of the pets released so far, but honestly, I think a LOT more can be done with Harvest. I guess the orange is because we don't really have a dominant of that color yet, but I really don't see a reason why there can't be Harvest pets with a more earthy color scheme and others that follow that vibrancy of fall like on the east coast. At first I didn't mind so much because I thought it was like a Spectrum to Blacklight palette swap, but like you worked to cover up and change all the little details, so it's a little disappointing to see so much orange. I don't think it should be frowned upon or anyone should be scared to use browns or reds/yellows because those belong to Hydrus and Reborn.

But hey, with people like Speiro I guess I can always just opt for an overlay.

I'm digging the new color, also glad the porion isn't extremely difficult to obtain. I don't mind that they reworked the Glade pets, it's similar to the Blacklight and Spectrum pets, but I think more work seems to go into the Harvest pets.

As someone who DOES live in New England (New Hampshire, specifically), let me just thank you for your comment. xD <3 I can agree with you completely! Even up here, autumn colors aren't always so bright and beautiful. It depends on the weather we have, honestly. If we have really warm days with really cold nights, with little rain, THEN the colors can truly pop--and this is usually only through mid-autumn. "Peak season" this year was early/mid-October, where as in past years it's been early/mid-September. It's never a guarantee.

All in all, I love the new Autumn colors for the pets. I hope we get this color for all of them soon. <3

I think some people need to actually go outside and look at some trees. Most dead leaves are the same colour, guys. Most people don't live in New England or whichever bit of the States is famous for fancy coloured dead leaves. My garden is piled high with leaves thanks to some bad weather and they're almost all the exact same shade of orange-ish brown. This is what autumn generally looks like.

I love the autumn idea of this color but I'll agree with some others, I'd like to see more color to it like red and yellow rather than just orange. I'm absolutely still going to get a harvest potion and hold on to it in hopes of more pets being released.

I hate to be a debbie-downer but I'm a little disappointed in this new pet color. I'm going to have to echo many others and say that I wish there was more contrast. I get that you don't want to make the colors so similar to the reborn pets, but I still think that some contrast could've been used. More browns would've been nice. On a more positive note, I do really like autumn colors so I'm sure I'll end up preferring some of these over the regular glade versions. I do like the highlights and colors on the darkonite.

…Uh. Not to be a buzzkill or anything but that pet color is REALLY boring. :( Couldn't you guys have used more contrast than just different shades of orange? Where are the reds, the yellows? The browns? These would look so much better if they actually looked more like real autumn instead of just Glade pets washed over with an orange color filter.
