The Antique Shop is now open!

There are two ways to purchase items from the Antique Shop. For now, there are tabs for the Islander items and Pirate items, but future tabs for other plot and event prizes will be added. By going to the main section for these, youâ€™ll be buying items full price and be able to do whatever you want with them. For example you could buy the Salty Chart Pieces from the Pirates tab and put them in your petâ€™s treasure chest, one of your galleries, your vault, or even send it to a friend!

The second way to purchase items from the Antique shop is by clicking one of the item types after â€œDirect To Collectionsâ€. For example, if you click books youâ€™ll have all the book listed from the different events (right now only pirate and islander books are listed). By buying an item from this tab, youâ€™ll be getting a nice discount and bypass your inventory. In the case of foods and books, these items will be fed/read to your active pet. When you feed/read the foods/books to your pet or buy a plushie/beanbag, they disappear from this section so you can easily keep track of what you still need to purchase. If you end up reading all the books to your pet from the books tab (whether through the antique shop or your inventory!), the tab will disappear until we add another old plot/event!

We will give you guys a heads up before we get rid of any other retired currencies just like we did with the islander/pirate currencies! Remember you can still convert your old pirate/islander points in for sP here!

So my excitemet for this new store was a 10. My expectation was around 5. Actual result -2000. I get they need to be harder to buy. Buy holy jesus potato pants in a biscuit. I have never spentmore than 20mil on a single item, even that is a lot in my eyes. Unless it was a cw of couse. But darn...I guess I will nver b able to buy the items that are actually hard to find. I would have more luck finding them in user shops for whatI used to think were ridic prices. Now 30mil looks like nothng. Who even has sp in those gastly digits.

Guess I wontbe even looking in there. Couldnt get them before, cant get em now. What a bummer man. (And sure some are below10mil, but most of those sell for half that in user shops)

Honestly, this is truly a fantastic idea!! Thank you so much!!! On, other pet sites, you are basically out of luck for plot stuff if you did not have an account when it happened. Which is kind of sad, ya know. Then you get to sit there as a noob looking at collection items you'll NEVER get. So this is such an awesome thing I personally love. The prices are a bit high but you know what, it is really easy to earn points on this site and at least the items ARE for sP. I am very pleased!

I donâ€™t see the antique shop as being an sP sink. What I do see is the site making more money as well as for users who want to complete their collection and of course items being attainable. If you think about it for a moment, everything in the shop requires you to pay with sPâ€™s. If you donâ€™t currently have enough to make a purchase of a certain item you want. One of the fastest ways to accomplish that is to contribute real money to the site. Get CSCâ€™s and sell them for sPâ€™s. Users will buy the cscâ€™s because CWâ€™s/CS items are in demand and youâ€™ll make sPâ€™s to purchase that item you want from the Antique Shop. This is just my opinion though ~ ^.^ ~

I'm a little disappointed with the Antique Shop (even though I've been seeking some of the items for awhile). I had been collecting the Hibiscus Barrettes and feel like this makes my efforts a little pointless. I collected them for their value and now that's pretty much out the window. Obviously they're still valuable but that value has been cut drastically. There were items from both Islander and Pirate that I wanted originally and was never able to obtain but seeking them made them more desirable and collectable, even if they were hard to get or expensive. I like that this shop allows users to get older items but it's kinda a slap in the face to the people who obtained them initially or worked to obtain them since. I guess they justify it by making the prices high.

Sorry to come back so much later, just not playing a lot. As to your comment: I get that. I could make pretty good money too, if I bothered anymore (I usually don't, but that's mostly on me not Subeta/these prices/etc). I was just speaking to the CW comparison c: CWs are another pricey/status item that was previously, arguably, too expensive (hence the price drops).

I don't remember this plot really (I had original points at one point but damned if I remember getting or spending them) but I know it was tuned pretty hard. My complaint, personally, isn't so much the amount (they're a little on the high side within the main shop but reasonable, especially for say the weapons vs. the tribal buds.... I guess I am just crazy but I really thought they were below the hibiscus, certainly usually are in terms of demand) as what you get for the amount. Since my 'most wanted' item is a minion, that if I bought it I would be fine with -never- getting rid of it, I'm turned off by it being essentially the same price I would have (been willing to) pay before, only so I can keep the option to resell it later at a loss. Yay?

/shrug - I'm just saying, I get why some are ok with the prices (holy shit these items exist again) but I also get why other people aren't as cheery (buying non-collection items, and/or not a part of the rampant valuation on site that is mostly CWs and other CSC things).

First off, I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but of course there's people whose going to pay those amounts for the items they want; there's people who will and there's people who won't. Most of the people who wont (like me) either don't want anything from the shop, or don't have the funds yet to afford the pricey items yet. But there's always going to be those who will purchase things because they see something like they like :) so really, your comment wasn't that necessary, almost as useless that the guy who was posting how much sp is on subeta, or whatever that was x.x. Not to say you don't have a right to post how you feel or anything, just saying it's kinda useless.

Are some of the prices steep? Yes, they are. Are not all the players going to get everything? Yes, of course not. Do I wish some prices were lower? Of course, won't lie. But! I'm glad these items are available again. I worked hard for my points back then but only got some of the books so I'm happy I do have a chance at saving up for a few others. I will admit some items will be less attractive to me price wise but still- they are back and I am happy for that.

Quests and games are always going to generate sP. I hope you realize that you literally cannot see if people are buying things or not. Since this shop is here to stay, I highly doubt people are jumping on these items, especially considering some of them realize lots of saving.

If you're so worried about the lack of sP being taken out of the system, buy the goddamn godly and shut up about it already. The goal of this wasn't "sP SINK" it was "GET THESE ITEMS BACK IN CIRCULATION" ya dig?

But that is just it, unless I am mistaken... that is newly generated sP. Not from people selling stuff to others ( like buying csc with real cash and selling for pure sP ), but Quests or maybe turning in sP vouchers.

I love this and the prices are perfectly fine. These are rare items that appeal to collectors; they ought to be expensive.

Anyway, what about an achievement for spending some minimum amount of sP/buying a certain item in the Antique store that gave away some other item as a prize, or a forum title? That way there's incentive to buy from the store itself once more of these items are in circulation.

I wish I could say I wasn't surprised by these prices, but I still am. I knew it was going to be a lot... it's just still surprising. I feel like it's fair, I just wish I knew an easier way to get sP.

It took me a few months just to get 250mil saved in the shop til. I know the easiest way is to buy csc and sell it, but ha ha;; I can't do that; At least, not right now...

I'm glad this shop is here to stay, I really needed some of the books from this old shop!

Why not offer a compromise? Most of the users are unable to buy the items and wonÂ´t be able to do so in the future. Why not offer a special quest to gain them? Invent another game, endeavor or story to attain them. Perhaps a long and tiresome trasure hunt? Or a mean battle quest with lots of frightening opponents?
Would be more fun and less depressive (:

I don't know why there are so many complaints about prices. They're staying there forever, and really, if they didn't do this, many of these pieces just wouldn't be in circulation period. At least this gives a chance to those who weren't here for the event, as well as giving people the chance to get things they didn't get previously.

Gives you something to save for. Completely a collection isn't supposed to be easy. I definitely agree with introvert on this one.

Some of the prices are equivalent or even less than what they were going for when this event first ended. However, some of them are just stupid high in price though.

As for the godlies, that actually is quite a bit of a discount since I believe each was worth 10k rs war points and staff are valuing points at 50k per point...that being said I don't understand the prices for godlies now anyway. They are all over the place. You have ones like swashbuckle that are completely deflated to 95mil but then you have wrath going for over three billion and natasha (which is almost the same as wrath) going for 750mil in the millionaire center. I think the prices for them should be more consistent. It would be nice to see them at around the 1 bil range so they would still take a while of saving up to buy but more attainable.

I mean, yea I bitched about the leis, but honestly that's because it was a supply and demand issue (which is still an issue no one wants any goddamn leis, esp for 37 mil) but honestly I would MUCH rather have the 100% guarantee of being able to get the plushies I need, even for 18mil (which, btw, is sP out of the system) then try to restock them, not being able to, and having to pay that 20mil+ to a USER. I'm going to buy items from this shop eventually, because I want to finish my collections. Real talk, if you aren't willing to spend the money (esp collection wise) then it wasn't really a goal. Collections cost millions upon millions to billions+ of sP to complete. Just saying. If the sP isn't spent on retired items here, it's going to be spent somewhere else on a different item anyway (say hello to retired monthly collections and DPs). I'm just glad I'm not profiting dickwads anymore.

This shop isn't for new players. New players aren't trying to finish collections. New players don't need godlies (fuck nobody needs godlies stop being greedy let's just ignore those completely because they don't even count) What this shop does is give newbies the opportunity to be able to get these items when they do get that far and have the funds, or if they want the items for TCs, they now have the ability. And as someone who buys CWs for TC items, if they aren't willing to dish out the money for these items as TC items, then it wasn't that big of a deal to them. The shop also allows older players who missed the plot or chose the opposing team the opportunity to get the items they need.

You can't afford it? Save up. You don't want to save up? Then you don't really want or need these items.

i have almost 200mil in my vault. I think the prices are untouchable, but that's me being stingy. lol instead of complaining i decided to see if i can sell enough stuff in my shop to reach 37 mil to buy a I plan on feeding that to my gourmand pet. I also hope that my GA will help me reach the goal faster :D

why don't you do the same? ;) autopricing takes few seconds. and you can vend if you want more items to sell. ;)

I only need one of these items for my container collection, and I have enough to purchase it...but the price is seriously making me reconsider even collecting that type of item. Especially since there are so many other expensive things I still need to get my hands on to complete the collection. I've been on this site for almost 9 years and have a decent amount saved up for things and I still think this is kinda ridiculous. Especially for people who may not have been on the site when the actual event these items were from was going on. At least I had a chance to make up enough points to get it with the event, and was stupid to not do so, but newer players didn't even have that chance.

The shop looks great. The price ceiling on most items looks fairly good considering it's a flat ratio and not individually priced and considering how incredibly staggered point costs where to begin with. I really would have supported individual pricing though, even if it would seem less fair and far more tedious... I can't help but think that things like current and past prices as well as number available and unavailable on the site really matter when doing something like this...

I am surprised that the godlies are only 3.75b. The people who are going to buy them would pay more and be happy, I'm sure. They're a serious collectors item :D.

I'm hella glad you can't get the items working only 2 weeks for them. If that was the case, a lot of users would own every single item on site and quit because there'd be no reason to keep playing. I understand the frustration, but it's not like you NEED to own everything. If you really want an item, now you have the chance to buy it. Before this shop, you didn't even have that chance, because there were no sellers. If you feel the prices of some items are too high, then I don't think you want the item that much, so it's not the end of the world if you don't get it.
