Dueling for dances!

Oh heavens - have you seen Boudewijn around? He's in a dreadful mood, and cutting in on everyone's dances! I've heard that if people refuse to let him cut in then he challenges them to a duel! What a sourpuss.

At least he's giving away bags of trinkets if he loses. Paying his shame away! You can't really expect to have a good time at the Masquerade Ball if you're nothing but rude and pushy, I say!

It certainly would put a smile on my face to see people beating him. It's certainly achievement worthy! To be quite honest, people deserve one for even trying. So watch out for Boudewijn!

Actually managed to beat the rock-paper-scissors like game for the first time encountering him and won a bag of 50 steamworks trinkets. Not too bad! You just have to choose the right sword twice instead of three times!

Can you please up the odds of him appearing the last day or two? I spend all afternoon refreshing the ballroom, have him appear once, and promptly lose. Every single day since this began. I'm about in tears this is so frustrating!

The bag gives you trinkets when opening, you don't get a sword, just the trinkets.

Event occurs on the dance floor. Yes you must go to the dance floor each time. It's random when it comes up.

I've gotten him 5 times. (4 times on Tuesday, none yesterday and 1 so far today). I've lost to him every time. LOL

He plays a rock scissors paper kinda game but with swords so you just choose different swords.

I can also FINALLY confirm, that after 3 days and 400+ dances, I got the event two times in 5 dances, lol. One lost, one won, so now I can sleep.

So I just have to credit public bitching for the win...I complained here in the wee hours of the morning, went to sleep for a bit and when I got back online, I got the pop up event for this on my 4th dance and this time I finally beat him! And I was on my phone, which I had thought may have been part of the issue not getting the event yesterday, so it works from touchscreen devices too apparently in case anyone else was paranoid abt that like me. So I can confirm it isn't broken.

I've lost four times, never even beat him in a single round once. At best, I've tied him. I've been trying on and off all afternoon and have yet to get another challenge. This is really getting tiring. I want to go back to dancing without having to babysit the Ballroom on some 2x random chance game. So I echo others' sentiments--is this broken atm?

after going through well over 100 dances at the least within the past 24 hours, and checking the dance floor every time, im legit contemplating on whether or nor actually going to the dance floor is even worth it at this point because i havent even seen him hanging around in the back of the dances as an onlooker. how the hell have people gotten him more than once?

Scratch that, just won. Woot! Now, do I keep going to the dance floor on the off chance of winning trinkets? Or save time and skip the dance floor to catch up with the alerts on my sidebar.... lol Trinkets! Thanks again for the fun!

Adding my voice to those asking "is this broken?" Because I got the pop up event 3 times Tuesday night (and somehow managed to lose all 3 times...bleh), but haven't seen him at all on Wednesday and I've been requesting tons and accepting buttloads too (going to the dance flor for all of them too). So is it broken or are the odds reeally that terrible that I didn't get it once in well over 200 dances?

I gotta say, Im pretty disappointed. I read below we'll have a few chances to get the achievements for this, so I've spent hours today trying to get him to show up. I'm not refreshing, Im clicking the event, accepting each dance then going to the dance floor. It shouldn't be this tough to get him to cut in.

Also; I don't know if this has anything to do with it but everytime I go to the dance floor instead of there being six dancers in the background (three on each side) there are only five (three on one and two on the other) and it's always the left side that only has two.

I got him a total of two times...and both times was yesterday. Today. after 200+ dances, not once. I have the achievements from yesterday, but I would still like to get some trinkets. I guess he is broken!

Okay I haven't gotten a single duel with him today and I have been dancing for hours. I don't find this to be fun and the worst part is I keep seeing him IN the ballroom but I don't get a duel notification???

ok first i hate going to the Dance Floor. I dont normally do it, i accept my dances and move on

secondly since this came out yesterday not once in my 200+ dances ive been catching up on have i even come near this Boudewijn charater

thirdly all i keep reading is its a huge bug either not loading, not giving, or its just a white page... has this been fixed yet?

Ok, I've gotten the RE FOUR times now and every time I either get the blank page or I get the error message. I haven't even managed to see the dueling page. When can this be fixed?
