Dueling for dances!

Oh heavens - have you seen Boudewijn around? He's in a dreadful mood, and cutting in on everyone's dances! I've heard that if people refuse to let him cut in then he challenges them to a duel! What a sourpuss.

At least he's giving away bags of trinkets if he loses. Paying his shame away! You can't really expect to have a good time at the Masquerade Ball if you're nothing but rude and pushy, I say!

It certainly would put a smile on my face to see people beating him. It's certainly achievement worthy! To be quite honest, people deserve one for even trying. So watch out for Boudewijn!

:/ Random events suck. Dancing for hours, checking the ballroom every time, and nothing. Couldn't have made it a task, or whatever. Battle challenger even.

I am also having the issue with clicking the challenge option and getting "Oh No! [NPC] Gossip Boudewijn hasn't asked you to dance!" This has happened three times, one of those times I actually got to the pick a weapon part, when I clicked the weapon, I got the error message again.

I too thought he would be a battle challenger. Though I guess I will have to make a joke about that in my next Tumblr guide. A douche like him probably would have been a ridiculously easy challenger anyway.

Came home and went through a ton of events and no challenge :( I saw this once when it went out too early but had no idea what it was so I accepted. I hope he shows up again

Didn't get anything for a while, now I got challenged 4 times in 50 or so dances and I won every single time. I'm relieved I got the event, but...I can't seem to lose, help! :P

You don't actually fight him, you just duel him a rock/paper/scissors style game.

If you keep going to the dance floor after every dance (both asking and accepting), you'll eventually see a pop-up with a message about Boudewijn cutting in. Select the red "no" option and it'll take you to the duel screen. Just keep clicking on one of the swords until it tells you you've won or lost.
