After listening to some feedback, it's clear that our users would love to see some of the facial features from the CW competition as winners, as these items are not able to be resubmitted as normal CWs. In response to this, we have declared 4 further winners, all in the 'face' category. Our additional winners are:

I don't give a shit about any of these items since I voted exclusively for cutesy submissions, but I'm always tickled girly L'amour Parlor pink whenever staff shows its willingness to respond to and please its userbase. This is why I stay on Subeta.

Quitcher bitchin' now tho kids, for real. If you think L'amour got THE SHAFT this year, blame your fellow voters, not staff - they're just releasing what votes indicate is going to please the most people.

Fisrt of all, congratulations to the (new) winners! Second of all, it makes me really happy that you guys listen to the complaints and ideas of the users. Thank you for adding four more items! Third of all, I am also a bit disappointed again. How did you exactly choose the new winners? The news post leaves me guessing at your method, it kind of sounds like you saw these items mentioned in the comments and picked them for that reason. I'm happy there are some face items now, but were these really the most voted for items? I would have been more happy with those, I think. It didn't even have to be face items for me. And I don't believe that these were the most voted for face items either, because they look way too similar to each other for that. I might be wrong there though. Apologies if I am! Every Valentine's day, I am really looking forward to cutesy items. I love the l'amour parlour. Only this year I was pretty disappointed by the items there and I was really hoping to have some interesting items for me via the CW contest. Now we have 2 cutesy items (maybe 3 if you want to count the dress) and 8 zombie items. I get that people would find it unfair if there was a fixed ratio of 5 to 5 disregarding the votes. But I also think that if there had been 10 winning items selected purely on the number of votes, the ratio would not have been 2 to 8. I get that many people want the face items because they can't be CWs, but still, there were some beautiful non-face items that I feel would have been within 10 winning items, so I feel kind of cheated. Also, I don't understand why there are no face CW releases allowed. I would love to have some. Of course it's possible that there is a good explanation as to why they are not allowed, and if there is, it might be wise to share that explanation with us :)

... I completely don't understand all the shop separation shenanigans. If it was even amounts for both sides or whatever, then more of them would have one. More spooky items where picked because A. The good art leaned more that way (drawing this from memory.. there seemed to be more in the voting chamber but I'm not 100% certain) and B. People liked them more. It's like when people start throwing a piss fit about male items. Yes, let's have some, but no, it's not going to be even because they're not purchased (or voted for in this case) evenly. Supply and demand and all that jargon.

Also.... why don't we have face items as CWs? I never thought about it.... I just accepted it, but has there been an explanation for that? At first I thought it was just "Oh, who wants to pay insert large amounts of CSC here for a pair of lips. But... some people would, and now we do it based on size anyway, couldn't they just be on the cheaper end? shrugs Just wondering if that's actually been explained anywhere; I'm curious.

Thank you so much for adding the additional winners! I always felt a bit confused by the fact that there were so few winners this time around. 10 winners seems like a much more fair solution than 6. But maybe next time the site should allow for there to be at least 4-5 facial feature winners and 4-5 items in various other categories. It really seems like the facial features should be in a separate category since a lot of them cannot be submitted to the site as CWs.

Just wondering if there's a reason why we users can't see the voting results? If we could, I think it would stop a lot of complaints. But can't help it to think it is kinda suspicious, with the den items (which are sold for sP, since no one is looking to sink candy hearts...) and the other four non-facial items.

But it really seems like you screwed over potentially four other possible winners. You said you only picked out of the facial features items which means there may have been some other items that received more votes. While I love getting facial features because all the cw artists are truly talented at them, it is on everyone else for not voting for them so I do not see why they should receive special attention. An appropriate solution would have been to just allow cw artists to be able to submit face items! Seriously, what are you all afraid of so much that you wont allow these artists to submit facial features? It is just so ludicrous to me. It is not like it will break the wardrobe or the site or anything. And honestly that seems to be happening regularly without them anyway so why all the fuss.

You say you are listening to our requests but really it seems like you are only listening to the things you want to hear. Anything you don't have a real answer for you just ignore or try to avoid it and we are all tired of it.

I was sitting there scratching my head a moment when it said that they can't be submitted as reg cws, thought it meant by entering the contest you can't submit, but then realized it meant because they're facial features.... (which I still don't understand why not?) and then I thought "Why did the ones that won the extra slots only get to be Zombie Den?" and then I realized something- it's because these cannot at all be submitted as makeup substitute. Unlike the one I did, (the 'Parfum') I can take out the actual eyes and just submit the makeup as a cw... so... I guess that makes sense, but I agree- seems unfair that the Den got more items than the Parlor, but whatever. Congrats to the (extra) winners! I voted for that melting smile, super wicked. =3

This is why I love Subeta -- you guys listen! I'm very happy with this. I didn't vote for any of these either ;) BUT I'm so happy we got some fun facial items to play with. I agree that we don't need more girly items -- if these were the top vote-getters, then they're the winners! I don't see why the shops had to be 50/50; we need more creepy, unisex items on the site! Thank you so much for listening to our silly demands keith. Im so excited! Three of the four face items I wanted made it! Now I just hope that the eye out of its socket makes it on site sometime. It was amazing.

Also, I dont see why its bad no pretty items made it. There are many on site. I can only count maybe fifteen good creepy items. It is pandemic after all. And peka boo gave a chance for cute eyes. Its the undeads turn ;D I am sure many will re submit the cute ones for other events anyway.
