After listening to some feedback, it's clear that our users would love to see some of the facial features from the CW competition as winners, as these items are not able to be resubmitted as normal CWs. In response to this, we have declared 4 further winners, all in the 'face' category. Our additional winners are:

So will any other wearables be added to the shop this year or did we not get as much because of the CW contest? I was honestly hoping for some more clothing, I didn't care for the dresses and balloons.

I do think keeping the categories idea will help a lot next time, even if it's just "facial items" vs "non facial items", since that is the major division we have when it comes to bringing an item on site.

Oh it's fine that mine didn't win because I'm gonna submit the makeup as a CW and maybe submit the eye without makeup for a later comp, but my thing is like I'm more into cutesy things and it seems like in this competition cutesy things kinda got the short end of the stick. And I know in general that same thing happens to the non-cutesy stuff which may be why less cutesy stuff ended up winning, I just feel like they should try to find a balance in cutesy/non-cutesy because I mean ultimately those that were highly voted on won (though who knows maybe some other non-eye items may have had higher votes but they released these because everyone complained that no facials won or whatnot). If anything they should have just announced 4 more winners, if they happened to be eye items fine, but who knows maybe some other items with high votes didn't make the cut because people wanted facial stuff as well as the previously announced prizes. To me that just feels unorganized, but maybe in the future even with categories for eyes, wigs, etc.. there might be more balance.

In the end, I think they should just lift the rule to submit eye/facial stuff as CWs and then in future competitions we might have a better balance of themed stuff.

Congrats to the four new winners! You guys did great! Though I am still massively disappointed that La Amour only got two winners. It feels uneven and unfair. There were ones that didn't win that I voted for that I wish made it or least know who made them so I can buy them with CSC. Even though I am bummed, you four also deserved to win. You made some quality items.

So excited that feedback was listened to. I've bought 2 copies of all 10 winning items :) Also glad you listened to feesback about opening the den as a year round sink. I am excited to be able to grab needed items or TC items at will. I think this is a great change.

As much as I love these items, and I'm happy to see them onsite, I can't help but feel this is unfair. For future contests would it be possible to have things like this made more transparent? If facial items are going to get more chances to win just because they can't be submitted as CWs it would be nice to be notified before hand. The users that didn't submit facial items have no chance at being a winner after the event.

Thank you for releasing these, I don't begrudge the extra winners what they got, but maybe either make facial items available under normal circumstances, or let entrants know that face items will be given special treatment.

Keith said he planned on categories next time around (although I think it was in regards to clothes, wigs, bgs, and face) but honestly I don't think they needed to separate categories for the shops? The only reason to make a category for faces is because they are the only face CWs to entire the site, but for something where the category is based on the theme there is no reason to say 'oh these are both shirts, this one has 3x the vote of that one but that one is 4th best in the shop we'd release it in whereas the other one might have 3x the votes but is currently considered to be in 6th place of its respective shop.

neither I did lol I just voted for one of the 10 winners (that background). IDK, none of the items were just not my thing. My favorite was that relic of ??? (I guess it was Innocence/Passion, a pink eye - it just matches perfectly with a darker skin)
