Well, if a collector wants the Sticker I will put mine in the trades. I was planning on stick it on me, But I'm not a collector an I think I'll never get all the 100mil+ stickers '-'

As the sticker was a participation prize rather than a winners prize, would it be possible to let us know how many have been given out please? Presumably that's more than 10? And was it for everyone who took part rather than just those who were down to the final judging? I think a decent number being released would give people who really want them a chance, and knowing there are quite a few out there would probably ease the concerns of us sticker collectors. I tend to agree that there should be something unique for participants, but I really want that sticker :)

The sticker should be in the shop too or are you making it so only artists can complete their sticker collections? Couldn't care less about the wearables being made available but the collection items would have been better :/

I was really surprised to receive a prize as a participant. I'm also glad I got that sticker as it's not in the couture section. I also might buy that tablet. I'm not sure I'd ever use it though...

I actually like the way this was done. Not every participation prize needs to be exclusive. I'm very happy simply getting a relatively expensive item (or a few) for 'free.' Although I sort of fear the amount of users that will open MS paint and upload an entry next time just to get a participation item.

Oh all the prizes you decide to make the sticker the excluded item. Well thats a slap in the face to the collectors isnt it. There are some of us that try very hard to fill our collection. So can someone explain to me wheres the incentive to keep buying stickers from the cash shop since you have intentionally made it impossible for anyone to complete their collection. Its bad enough you put some in the Referral Prize shop. I guess I should thank you also because Im no longer wasting real money to buy stickers from the cash shop.

I like this new approach staff, keep it up;) I don't agree with participants getting trophies or titles. It could be so easy to get those. In this case all the person had to do was draw a heart, make a description they just made up(could even be not good at all) and get them. I do think maybe for the top 5. I do like that they get profits for how many of their items sell:)

I greatly appreciate being able to buy these items. Sure wish that I could get the sticker but can't have it all. I miss out on all of the "art" contests as I do not have an artistic bone in my body, so I am greatful that my hoarder shop will have more items. :)

I'm super stoked that we have the option of buying the items with CSC should we choose to do so. Like others have said, these seem to me to be more "extras" to the massive amount of sP that the artists will be making. (Personally, I would have been particularly upset if the book had been completely impossible to get.)

I also appreciate Rah's explanation, including why the sticker wasn't included in the shop.

This is true! I think these things should probably be sorted out before contests or competitions are over but hey, live and learn. I agree, that pretty little sticker is a good seclusive prize. Sure, the sticker collectors are a bit upset but come on guys, it isn't that big of a deal and it gives them something to point at for their efforts. I agree, if you actually participated you should get something special that you can only get for participating. ^^

.PoisonIvy that would actually be unfair (the trophy). They should announce first, I think. There are people (like me) that likes to be adviced before what we will have as prizes. I entered the contest, but anyway that'd not be the solution in my view. Participants already have an exclusive sticker. That's a good thing and in my perception, enough

Hmm, I must say. I am impressed with the staffs consistent desire to make the game as fair and fun for everyone of every different social structure. I know it must be a really hard thing to please everyone as some people want to feel special while others want to feel equal. That is a difficult thing to make balance with. To be honest, I think this is a very fair thing you have done.

While yes, it does take away some of the "specialness" that comes from entering the contest, some people simply do not have artistic talent and it is unfortunate that they get left out every time. I'm sure everyone would love to be good enough at making art so that they could try and make items for the site all the time, but they simply don't have the tools or the talent. Which is unfortunate. At least they must pay real money to get the items others won in the contest.

I mean, it may just be "2$" worth but think about it this way...you could be the kind of person where 2$ makes or break whether or not you eat tonight. Willing to spend that money on here DOES still make it special, you guys. There are still PLENTY of people who won't be buying those so you still get to feel special and include others without artistic talent.

I agree with one comment on here, perhaps a special trophy on the accounts of all the participants would give them a little something special that no one else can get but no one would feel left out.

I am sorry, Subeta staff. For those who are never happy and for having to try and please everyone. I hope everyone realizes that you don't have to do that at all, ask neo... But my views on this site and this staff are that they are very caring and willing to work with the users to make it as balanced as possible. You guys are doing a fantastic job and making my worries from before dissipate the more I take the time to see what all you guys are doing and how it works out.

I don't think I have any worries when it comes to this site possibly becoming unfair. You guys work too hard to make sure it is, and I am thankful for that.

I dont understand why people have a problem with it temporary being sold for csc? 😕 It is not like everyone can or will buy it... And now the non-artists can get a change aswell for a short period of time to get those prizes...It is not like someone is getting worse by it... The people how entered it, did get these items for free and can sell it if they want for a nice profit (and probably not for unreasonable prices, like 50mil for just one sticker)...even if their artwork sucked, they still get these stuff for free were others have to pay csc for... And remember it is just a temporary shop... people who did miss these weeks, missed all the available items.

Gosh, you guys are so all over the place with what you want! There are a mixture of people here that think the sticker should be available to buy with all the other items, some that feel that the book should NOT be in the shop, some that think no items should be available to buy, some that are really happy we've done it this way!

We chose the sticker as the exclusive prize because sticker collections are a 1-per-account kind of thing, as far as collections go - the participants (who had no idea they'd get a participant prize) are rewarded justly with an item they can either sell to sticker collectors or keep for themselves - there are quite a good number of these on site for this to be a worthwhile prize, we thought. But we didn't like to make a book a participant only prize - not when there are people who read books to multiple pets! There is a higher demand for books, so we put that one in the couture tab for the cheapest amount. Then the rest of the prizes, there would be even less of! Distribution wise, we thought this would be the best way.

As for participants getting nothing special - we've given out multiple prizes, one being completely exclusive, but all together having a pretty high value when put together, and all for doing something that usually costs users a large amount to do!

As to the error where CSC wasn't being taken at first, we've fixed that, and I'm about to put out a news announcement c:

I like the medal for your profile idea and maybe a title for the forum. For us who participated with either designs of their own or spent money on commissions, since prizes can be bought for CSC, this would be a nice gesture. :)

Don't the winners get like 90% of the sP from from their items' sales? As I see it, that's the main prize and these items are just a bonus.

A prize is still a prize if it's available for others and you got it for free (you being the general you, aka people who entered the contest).

I really do appreciate that in a real-life skills-based competition, the participation prizes are more widely available. I think if it was for an event like BotB that doesn't require you to be able to draw or commission someone to draw, it would not make any sense to make participation prizes more widely available. General site events that are low-barrier wouldn't fit this.

All that said, ouch on the sticker being the excluded prize.

I normally don't comment, but I think this is a great thing to do. I know people think it makes it less special, but half the site would later complain about how rare the items were. So this is a great compromise. That tablet is amazing.

I dunno seems kinda.... not right, if you didn't enter the contest you don't get a prize and shouldn't have the option to buy them cause really wtf was the point of having the contest with added prizes if you're just going to let other people get them as well. Even if not all of them are gonna be sold it just doesn't seem right to me. But that's just my opinion, don't take it to heart.

I participated. Got my prizes. But people who didn't participate can buy the prizes with CSC. I think the participation prizes should not be included. I'm okay with the wearable prizes being in there. Oh wells. I feel kinda special.

I think this is just wrong. The ones who entered/won should have the special prizes just for themselves. They shouldn't be sold just to make more money for the game.
