Battle of the Bands Reminder!

Excuse me there, it's not that I'm tired, it's just that I'm a little off key. Hahahahaha. Anyway, just wanted to stop by and remind you that you need to have your Battle of the Bands submissions in in just over an hour and 30 minutes time! If you're not in a band, don't worry too much (Oatmeal has enough on his plate!) - you can still participate in the finals by supporting your favourite band. Or booing at all the other bands. Although Lindsay might come along and fireman's lift you out of Peka-Boo altogether - have you seen that girl's abs?

Oh yes, speaking of Lindsay, she told me to let you know that voting for the Custom Wearable Contest will end tomorrow, and the winning items will be released into the Fashion Yurts on Tuesday! How delightfully charming. Good luck to all those participating, I suppose. Now can somebody in this VIP tent rub my feet?

(Can't wait to see who won the CW contest. Going to do epic amounts of questing today just in case I don't have enough for the items. >w< )

I'll admit that I didn't look at the time stamps. They are such a pain to see because of the contrast on my larger monitor. (I should use CSS to change the color of the time stamps I guess.) It was more likely the latter then because I didn't just refresh the band page, I clicked back to it from Peka Park. (While keeping a seperate tab with the correct info open, just in case.) My band image had been complete since late Saturday/early Sunday (and it wasn't randomly editing itself away) so no telling what would have happened had I tried editing it.

They said 12:00 midnight when they announced the contest and may have said it again since. So no, not 12:05am... 12:00am. The issues is that the system started closing up shop before then, apparently.

Aw man, I'm really upset about the band image problem. I tried to save at 11:48-11:50 and it told me submissions were closed. The news post said the submissions would close at OVER an hour and a half after the news post. So AFTER 12:05, right?

No, unfortunately that wasn't the problem (even because my comment talking about the glitch was posted at 11:50, it wasn't my clock) :( I also tried to edit my description by adding some exclamation marks to see if it would save and it did, the only problem was saving the band image.

-confused look- I was still able to access my band's edit page at 11:57pm. I took the opportunity to save my band's info one last time. I just hope the name and description have saved properly. I've been having issues with randomly disappearing since the day I created my band, despite trying multiple methods to fix it. It was still showing up at 11:58pm (when I accessed the page again without a problem), so hopefully it worked.

I know the clock will lag behind you stay on one page, even if you refresh said page, so maybe that's what happened to the users who weren't able to access it when they thought they ought to be able to... -pokes posts below- Or the system just hadn't gotten around to my band yet. Either way, I feel really bad for them. -nods-

I love how my band image isn't showing up, and then when I try to edit and save it I'm told that submissions are closed where there are 15 minutes left. This is awesome /sarcasm

- According to the thread below, there's no submit button. Just make sure you've saved your description and group photo, and you're done.

Just to clarify for the band submissions, we just need to save our stuff? There isn't some "submit entry" button anywhere? (As in, our saved stuff auto-submits at the deadline?)
