Peka-Boo: Get Your Fashion Fix!

Well good afternoon, festival goers! We sure do hope youâ€™re enjoying the first full day of the Peka-Boo Festival! Weâ€™ve had a chance to grab a few hours of sleep, and weâ€™re ready to celebrate with some new things for you to check out while youâ€™re here.

First off, we are happy to announce that the Fashion Yurts are now open for business! Please come in and check out the very latest in festival fashion from your favorite designers. It took everything in my power not to snatch up their entire inventory immediately!

Also, keep your eye out for helpful volunteers who will be floating around, passing out some useful items for your sunburnt cheeks and parched lips. Consider them free gifts from us to keep you healthy and happy all throughout Peka-Boo.

Ermâ€¦speaking of keeping healthy, weâ€™ve noticed litter beginning to accumulate on the festival grounds. This is so unfortunate! If you see any in your path, would you mind picking it up and holding onto it? Weâ€™ll be meeting later in order to try and determine how to best dispose of the mess. Stay tuned!

Finally, while weâ€™re overjoyed with the kindness and generosity weâ€™ve seen displayed at the The Wishing Shrub, weâ€™ve had some of you approach us and admit that you may have made a wish that you now regret. Therefore, weâ€™ve tweaked the rules a bit to allow you to cancel your wish if it has not been claimed after 2 hours. Wishes should start to be able to be cancelled around 5:00 pm today, if youâ€™re interested in giving it another shot. We have also made it so you can only claim one wish at a time â€“ this is all about spreading the love, right? â€“ and so that if you grant a wish, but aren't able to decide on your own wish that day, your wish will still be available to be made the next day â€“ cool, right?

I agree that a limit of say 10/15million to the wishing shrub would make things so much easier for everyone. The vast majority of items I keep seeing in there are all unbelievably expensive, or I might have considered treating myself. It's nice to grant wishes for others and have your grated in return, but the things that people have been asking for seem unobtainable.

I've asked a Vampire Cape and I'm inmedeadley grandted. Thank you anymous who grand me. I advice all other users who wish items more than 10 milion Sp to chainge thair wishes. You can be happy with much less expensive items too and the change you become grandted is much bigger.

Loves all the kigurumi! Can we get some sharks? I would really love some more sharky items :D or killer whales, or dolphins, or penguins... yeah more kigurumi! Just wish I wasn't spending a minor fortune to get it all, but great work on the items.

Did it give everyone a free first wish and then after that you have to grant a wish to make a wish? Because it let me make my first one yesterday before granting, but won't let me do it today. I thought maybe not having to grant first was a vip thing or something, now I'm just confused lol And frustrated of course... I'm just staring at a page full of impossible things from my WL as I refresh over and over heh...

The wishes aren't lowering... Only bc the possibility of cancelling 'em was added. If there was no option to cancel the wish, they would be affordable (at least, a good part of them). Close to the reset of the day you can see a lot of less than 1m items.

I agree. I wasted 5ml the first day b/c even though I clicked on the item to "hold" it, I went back and it was taken. Tried today and spent a couple hours refreshing over and over again and each item under 1ml was usually taken so I settled on another 5ml item. Least I got my wish granted - an hour later (I was starting to worry). Same price as the one I gifted.
I want a Tigrean poncho!! I agree, I want to see more pet ponchos.

Why would someone pay the equivalent of $5 for an achievement that doesn't give anything. On the bright side, clicking refresh on the wishing area has got me trash to pick up. Now if only there was something in there that wasn't horribly priced. I'd give higher priced items to a friend, but the high priced items seem kind of greedy. I put up a cheapo spork for my request, so someone could get the achievement.

Please do something about the wishing shrub. This is starting to get ridiculous. There are items in there that aren't even in the shops. How is someone expected to grant that? Not everyone is rich enough to grant all those wishes. How about organizing the items in the shrub? It is hard to find any cheaper items in there. There should be a limit to the price of an item put into the shrub. Items that aren't in the user shops should not be there (how do you find them?).

I have to say I am so excited to see some Noktoa items for fashion. I have felt so left out in this department as I LOVE this breed but it was like they were discovered and then forgotten about, no plushies, no beanbags, no love. So to see fashions for such a lovely breed makes me smile. Thank you for remembering the beautiful and mysterious Noktoa!! They deserve the love.

I think part of the problem, too, is having to grant a wish before making one. Nobody wants to shell out millions upon millions and receive something worth only a few hundred thousand in return :( Perhaps allowing more wishes would fill up the tree, but it might also allow for some more easily granted wishes

I love the wishing shrub :) I've managed to grant 2 wishes pretty easily (one I had a stash of in my vault!) and have gotten 2 amazing items back :) Thank you for this chance to get some of my favourite WL items :)

And to everyone having difficult a time at the shrub, just keep refreshing, click on any item you think it cheap..check the value and buy if it's affordable to you. If it is too expensive, just go back and do the same. I did that (with a loooot of refreshing) and I finished all 10 grants while spending less than 10mil! (im so poor >O< ) You can 'claim' more than one item at a time. It's just a lot of repetitive motions~ Some items I thought were prob gonna be expensive ended up costing me 200-600k. The most expensive item I bought was 1.5mil.

Seriously now? There hasn't been a single wish in there thats under 8mil to buy, and I've checked in very often over the last 5 hours. I will not be able to make even a single further wish this festival as I don't even have 8mil. This is ridiculous.

At least let people make their wishes without having granted one. At least give me the opportunity to make a smaller wish that someone else can grant; I won't even get an achievement for wishing, so why would you put that restriction on it?

I really wish there was a cap on how much the wished items can cost in usershops. It's impossible for me to participate in any way on the wishing shrub like this, and it's a shame. Some people have used all of their ten wishes on the first day, and I'm not even allowed to make my second one. Thanks a lot.

... I have been trying. I have been trying both yesterday AND today. I am willing to spend even a couple million sP to grant someone's wish, but I don't see any wishes that are nearing the 10 million or more mark, on the cheap side. This is extremely frustrating, both as someone who would like to make their own wish AND as someone who wants to help fulfill the wishes of others.

There is something that is irritating me tho. The hover over on the item for the avg price is wrong, so when I click on an item to claim it, and it is unbuyable, I have to wait 5 minutes before I can look again... I would like to be able to cancel my claim. If I check the price before I claim, the item will be gone if it's affordable.

If you're mad about about the CSC items, then just don't buy them! If you want them, buy them! If you don't want to spend cash, use your SP... you can get CSC with SP. No one needs to spend cash so just relax.... and feed your troubles to the goat!

I feel like there's a lot of CSC being spent at this event. But even so, I love the new items, especially the kurigimis and the coral bay line in the Couture tab. However, it might be because I spent most of my CSC on a VIP pass, but I wish the couture items were special in another way. Maybe only for VIPs, but cost sp? or had to be taken from a chance bag or something. I'll bite the bullet and get a few though, they're lovely~
