Featured Game: The Bug Game!

While we continue our world tour of featured games, why don't we revisit a game from the darkest corner of Shadowglen, The Bug Game. Simply named and deceptively simple to play, can you swat your way to another 10 EPICon points? The owner of the game (as much as you can own a bit of rock and a jar of bugs, I suppose) says that if you can get in 400 hits before 5 bugs manage to slip away, there are bonus EPICon points in it for you! And if these bugs are too close for comfort, you may enjoy the mobile version of this game! I'm having a lot of fun playing on my Tangerine Touchphone.

Don't forget, you can earn extra points every day by playing our previously featured games. Seashell Spotter, Subeku, Stealth Bomber, Ziara Raceway, and Divine Discs will each award an additional 10 points to your total!

Today is the final day to get your submissions for the Cosplay Contest! For those wanting to enter, make sure you get it done by the end of the day, because once registration closes, it closes for good!

The highest score I ever got was like 250 something and that was reaching level 7 or 8 which I'm told is impossible, so this is seriously borked. The more and more problems that are happening are not cool Subeta Peeps. Especially with nothing in compensation.

Grrr The game doesn't load half of the time and that's not including the cloudflare issues. I live in the merry old land of Australia. Games like this are time consuming and I cannot stay up all night to play them. I also cannot spend most of the morning playing them as I have to catch up on housework, shopping etc. If Subeta is going to run games with bonus points etc - how about remembering that not everyone lives in the USA or even on its side of the GMT. How about running games over 48 hours instead of 24, because I and I think a few other people other than myself are missing out on gaining points for this event. And yes, that is a full blown whinge from a whinging Aussie. Other than that all is just peachy!

I manged 4 bonus points and I just can't do anymore. I suck at this game. How I even managed 4 bonus points is beyond me. Sorry for complaining, it's just frustrating. :(

On a plus note, I won't have to try for bonus points on this game after this! :D

OK guess I'm going to give up for tonight. Just very frustrated knowing that I'm losing out on over 20 weekend quests and half the games because the site isn't working right. Grr.

Wonderful. I finally get over 400 without incident annnnd the score fails to send. Sorry for complaining so bitterly; I'm generally pleased with the challenges, annoying as they might get, but this game is plain ridiculous.

The bug game is extremely frustrating. Every time I get within 300 or even in the 200 range, I somehow end up clicking the back button and end up losing all my progress. This has happened multiple times and I wish if there were a way to prevent people from easily leaving the page with the game.

It kinda sucks that this game has no mute button. And that you can't collect bugs for your cumulative score if you play "for fun", they will only be counted if you get a reward from Bug Guy Joe. Not funny. D:

Between too much coffee, not enough sleep (trying to fix my sleep schedule), and the annoyingly repetitive clicking, the music to this game makes me feel like throwing up, XD

It's not 'bad', it just does not agree with me at all right now. -_-

I am so sick of the "Look at me I'm so much better than you!" and "Oh let's make fun of users and their comments!" by the some snottier than though users who must have way too much time on their hands to do so! There are reasons to be complaining about the bug game because some of us expected certain games to be re-released instead of this one. I thought we were entitled to express our opinions freely on this site, and this game was based in North America and not North Korea!

Seriously, you people who make fun of commenter opinions because you think your better then everyone really show how immature you really are! You are the ones who are helping give Subeta a black eye!

After a day of struggling Im going to voice my opinion about The Bug Game. With no touch screen capabilities available I am armed only with firefox and my mouse which equal an epic fail at this game. This one puts me out of the running for reaching 400. Ick.

this sucks because that way i wont be able to play it ten times today :(

i have played 2 games so far today and no matter what i do the game isnt loading anymore - the bar starts to scroll to load it and it stops at 4/10 th and stays black screen for me with the bar !!

This is utter bull, I hit 400 bugs and the game ended and I did not get my bonus point. Instead of instantly refreshing when the game ends can't we get a game over and the option to send our score. But seriously who thought 400 was a good idea... >_>

oh. I changed to desktop view and now the game loads, but the spatula thing doesn't hit the bug where I tap, it is always a bit above or to the sides. is it supposed to be like that?

I recommend the mobile version if you can get it to load for you (took me awhile). Your wrist will be thanking you and the game seems more manageable.

I managed to get 350 my second time playing it. Not sure how I managed that since I'm half asleep at the moment hehe XD. goes to get some coffee and try another round of games to see if I can get anywhere today ^^. This game has a hypnotic charm to it where you feel you have to chase down all the creepy crawlies and there are more bugs and only one of me XD. I hope there will be other things to do for Epicon besides all the game scores to submit everyday ^^.

you just open up a page for subeta in whatever browser you have for your mobile device. I open mine up in safari and works just fine. I'm just tired of it not sending my very high bug hits.
