Featured Game: The Bug Game!

While we continue our world tour of featured games, why don't we revisit a game from the darkest corner of Shadowglen, The Bug Game. Simply named and deceptively simple to play, can you swat your way to another 10 EPICon points? The owner of the game (as much as you can own a bit of rock and a jar of bugs, I suppose) says that if you can get in 400 hits before 5 bugs manage to slip away, there are bonus EPICon points in it for you! And if these bugs are too close for comfort, you may enjoy the mobile version of this game! I'm having a lot of fun playing on my Tangerine Touchphone.

Don't forget, you can earn extra points every day by playing our previously featured games. Seashell Spotter, Subeku, Stealth Bomber, Ziara Raceway, and Divine Discs will each award an additional 10 points to your total!

Today is the final day to get your submissions for the Cosplay Contest! For those wanting to enter, make sure you get it done by the end of the day, because once registration closes, it closes for good!

You get one game which score you cannot get on the first try and you complain. IDGI where is the fun since all games have been so easy.
Unless you're sugar made, it's hardly going to do anything to your wrist, elbow or shoulder. Especially since you already spend your life on the computer clicking stuff.
It's just a game. If you really are part of the 0.5% of the population with Carpal Tunnel, then don't do it. You're only missing ten epicon points, it's not the end of the world.

Come on Subeta. :) My scores does not get submitted..... It´s a fun game, but i dont want to play it more than i need. I played it 7 times now, but it only counted for 2. And i got past lev 5 every time.

I can use only one hand: the left. The right hand became ill in December, 2012, so now I need the total efficiency of the left hand. The carpal tunnel is already suffering for attempts to kill those stupid bugs .... and the game suddenly reboots or scores are not detected. Suffer needlessly is not right. I can not allow me to play this stupid game. :(

Little bit enraged here... I've got a fat black square right underneath my flyswatter - no matter how often I reload or clean the cache it stays there. I''ve played 4 times now and I couldn't submit more than 1 score.

Um, no way! I'm not playing this game to lose 1,000 Sp and end up with a painful wrist and arm. I was hoping we would get the other Ziara game, the one that was a simulation where you do get to shoot down the pirates' planes, and Burrero Baskets. Its been months since the game was taken down, and it would be nice play it to get Epicon points. That and the Ziara Ladies simulation game.

I would like to take a moment to warn all potential players of the gross damage this game can cause to oneself. Forget the fact of carpel tunnel or rubbing ones finger raw on a trackpad. I'm talking about a complete and utter mental break down. I played one round of this. After about 150 hits or so I realized I was bored but locked in. I must finish the goal if I wanted to find the treasured points! So I found myself saying "bored" with every click. This actually helped. It was actually much better than the background music. Then my eyes started to burn. My nose started to run, and I started to question if my brain was melting in my skull. Finally, I scored the 500 necessary hits and found myself continuing to play. I sat there for a long time, lost in a fog of regret wondering why I couldn't simply just stop. I knew I only had 2 misses and surely after 500 hits it would take me a long time to reach the other 3 misses. I saw my level was 9 so I thought I might hang on until then, as a small personal goal. A good finishing number. Time ticks by and I pass 600 hits and still no level up. I keep moving forward, looking up each time to see when I've passed another 25 hit mark. These small goals were the only thing that could keep me going. I started to contemplate the differences in time between humans and dogs. What seems like a year passes by much more quickly for a dog, as it's seven of his. This game was the uber human. One second of this game felt like a month that I was use to. Time ticked by, constantly checking my score. Then I thought I saw a light shine down on me from the heavens. Level 10, there it was. However, I noticed something.... "What is this?", I asked myself. Hits: 0. NO! This cannot be! A quick scan of the text above the game and I see it.... the hits recent every 5 levels. Once my brain registered that I would be lost in a perpetual bug laden life, using only my nubs to survive the eternity, I could do nothing else but let out the biggest scream I could muster. Then... it was over. My scream penetrated the time barrier that had existed in my winged Hell and freed me from it's torment. Hits: 6. I beseech thee... the points are not worth your sanity.

I'm finding 400 to be quite achievable, tbh. I've gotten that high every game so far. The real problem is the wear and tear to the fingers and wrists... I have to take a break after every 2 games... but I just move on to one of the other required games for a bit. shrugs I was unable to max out my points with the Ziara Raceway game due to the site crashing, and being a bit of a failure at that game so I guess I'm just making up for it here.

Considering half the time the game won't load properly, half the time when the game DOES manage to load, it won't let you submit your score, don't you think 400 is a little steep? I mean we all appreciate you try to make this fun for us and keep us occupied, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.
