I don't think she's a troll. I mean, I see her point. (I think.) But, um... gay pride is so fun. D: And really, yeah, it's just marriage, but the bigger issue is that it's EQUAL RIGHTS. And a while ago: yeah it was just separate bathrooms and drinking fountains, but again that minor stuff was just the surface of an equal rights issue. And that's a big issue. You can't just let minor inequality reign forever. If you don't stamp it out entirely, it will start growing back like a cancer.

completely love this sticker! now my mom's best friend can get married and not have to drive out of state to do so! 🌈 ❤ thank you government. you did something great! ^_^

Actually, I think nudity being illegal IS ridiculous, and if there was a movement to get it legalized, I would totally back them the same as I back gay rights. (I just don't think people care enough, which is fine, because I don't either. Possibly because it's cold here..) And I think the only reason there is "gay PRIDE" is because there is opposition. Once the opposition calms its fucking shit and lets people have equal rights, the LGBT community and supporters will all calm down too and the "pride" will fade until it's no more or less than that of straight people.

I don't understand how anyone can support gay rights but not support gay people being proud to attain those rights. Does not compute.

Lovely tribute for a landmark ruling. Thank you Subeta team! On the other hand.... While opposing views should always be able to be freely aired, the hateful rhetoric and repetitious trolling here is sad to see.

Also, marriage existed before Christianity did.

In fact, it was a pre-Abrahamic tradition, so please do not use Christianity as an excuse to control something that existed beforehand.

As a libertarian, I believe that the right to marry should not be restricted in any way other than being between two consenting individuals. There should not be any other control of who can marry and who cannot.

Two. consenting. individuals.

I don't particularly care for the whole "gay rights" movement (I've met some incredibly rude and pushy people who really haven't given me the impression that they're fighting for equality but they just want to be special little snowflakes who are right about everything), but I'm not against any of it either. As long as i can keep my own beliefs, they can do whatever they feel like. Especially since the bigotry exists on both sides of this debate. And anyway, this is a nice sticker. =D thanks Subeta!

yay I'm glad. cause it isn't about religion at all. not when the government grants certain breaks on taxes and such for married couples. husbands and wives have passed away and their family was left completely broke with no help because they were gay and their insurance wasn't accounted for the same way a straight couples were. it is about more than the right to simply marry... tax breaks, visiting rights, life insurances and such. the right to adopt. I'm glad subeta is a community where we already understand this pretty much..

and I agree so much with cranberrys quote- we don't need a straight love pride movement....

, are you really so on the defense that you think that was specifically aimed at you? I was referring to the fact that, beyond this, the creator of the site is openly gay. So anyone who thinks gays are an abomination on this site is going to have a bad time.

I've noted before, not a homophobe, and you have not much of a hint to my sexuality. But look at it from my point of view, if a crow of nudist marched into town swinging their wangs about, asking for freedom from clothes, a lot would be said about it.
