Quentin is the weekend quest! Do those quests for increased prizes and special rewards!

No, Quentin is now worse than Drunk Carl. I love Drunk Carl. He always gives me at least one profitable item to sell, and I don't lose any money because I stash the foods he asks for in my vault.

he's not giving me special things at all, maybe it's not working this weekend :(? or he just doesn't like me xD...

And two of Quentin's "special" items don't even have a function! After just two weekends of Quentin being the Weekend Quest, they're selling for a whopping 1 sP each! C'mon, special prizes have to at least be wearable, readable, or be able to be put in collections! One says in the description that it's a toy, but it doesn't even have an option to play with it.

If all the quests are going to end up like this there won't be any point to doing any of them. Too bad, I rely on quest SPs each night to pay for pet training the next morning. Darn.

If all quests are going to turn into Quentin, then you won't gain any profit at all. Period. I wish quests were just left alone. They're fine the way they are. Please. People need to make money SOMEHOW and questing's the best way to do it. I mean pure sPs, NOT items to resell.

Quentin's worth it just for the drama. Now I don't have to rely on Carl for the WQ drama anymore!

I don't really like to look at this all from an economic standpoint, since that ruins the game for me. At the same time, I don't have much drive to make hundred of millions of sP. So, since I'm bored, I tried to experiment. ❤ I haven't really been around lately.

Hmm, so I tried to do all 30 GY quests w/o skipping because I really wanted to see reward put out.

So, 1 super rare (150k Skull), 3 mundane, 4 really common, 14 common, 3 normal and 5 (relatively cheap) rares.

I lost 140k which isn't bad at all. That's REALLY EASY to get back from other quests or games, so don't call me an imbecile for tossing tons of sP out the window for an experiment. But I'm not saying that people are "dumb" for not doing the quest over a "small" sP loss. There's not much incentive, as you can see from my results.

My assumption is that the quest is totally based off of luck? xD But anyway, I might try to do them all again on Friday or Saturday. Just for fun, hee hee.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little bummed out since I can't sense an increased prize value from Quentin. It doesn't really feel like a WQ. Not that I was expecting jumbo prizes since I never have much luck with Quentin, even before the quest change. ^^; This is my last weekend of summer break, so I might as well try to enjoy it.

Maybe they'll take away all of the WQ for good. Just saying, guys, so don't hate me for it.

Besides, I like that we're getting to turn in the holiday stuff that's become practically useless. I've been wishing for something like this for YEARS.

939sp and a 'common' Captured Duck for three items worth around 7k. How generous. Maybe Quentin's quests would work better as a money sink if they were more motivating, but right now and with 'rewards' like this, I don't see myself giving them another try anytime soon.

Quentin doesn't give out as much sp as you put in so you loose coin playing. The nicer things you get are limited i.e. it gives out the same ones randomly enough that eventually they loose their "nice" quality because there are too many for sale. In effect, Quentin is not worth the time even on the weq IMO except for some new players that might enjoy him.

Quentin used to be one of my favorites. He used to give me SubQ, and I could make a little profit. It was nice. Now? I could give two fucks less.

C'mon folks.

So far I have done 14/30 Quentin quests and most of the rewards were inexpensive items and the sP rewards are tiny. Even keeping my total cost spent low, I have still lost sP. I do not understand what is special about them.

I only do Wiz & Sag quests every night, only exception is weekend quests for another character that I might be interested in like Maleria. So Quentin for the weekend makes no difference to me. Except that if it were someone else people might actually do them.

While I actually do like the idea of Quentin asking for the holiday stuff to kinda clean it up, the payout for the quests are ridiculously low. I mean, at least make it maybe over 5k for the weekend one? I don't like spending 6k and getting 800 in return.

I really didn't want to complain, but I used to love Quentin's quests, granted I did get a few of the 'special weekend' items last week, it's still not worth it. They are deflating in value as we speak, so even they aren't worth it in the long run.

I'm sorry, but I don't like losing sP. I'm not the best at earning it in the first place, so what I do get I'd like kind of you know.. keep and save for items I want. Quentin's quests were nicer before, getting rid of the graveyard shop and putting limitations on Quentin's quests wasn't the best move, in my opinion.

As others have said there are a ton of good ideas for sP sinks. I don't want this turning into a certain other site where 'the rich stay rich' and the 'poor stay poor', because that's where I think it's heading, and I don't particularly like it.

I still love and support Subeta, I just don't care for the change to Quentin and if changes are made to the other quests similar to this, then I guess I just won't be questing anymore apart from the wizard. At least the tokens we get from him are actually worth something.

I don't really see what's so special about Quentin's WSQ, he gives me the same stuff he usually does... (or do I just have terrible luck).

Maybe it should be implemented to take the previous WSQ out of the selection for the upcoming one, so there are no back-to-back quests that are the same.

I was hoping for Cursed Quests. Mori/Nori need more love, esp with the revamp. I don't even remember the last time they've been the WSQ

Oh yes, quest sinks are obviously a great success, SubetaTeam. Maybe go back to the old ways? I know plenty of users who have great ideas for sinks that would be fun and would work better. Changing Quentin seems more like a punishment than an improvement! :(

I don't know why people are asking for more sP sinks or complain that it is easy to make sP! Quests should be there for gaining sP and for my opinion this is hard enough! And I simply don't believe anyone that you can earn more than 100 Millions a week without a huge effort! I like the idea of taking away holiday items from the site to make them more valuable, but not a quest! I'd prefer to see more holiday items at the recycling beast or something like that.
