sighs deeply Guess I'll have to skip the weekend quest once again... If it was at least worth spending sP on him, but I spend like 6000 sP for the items he wants and get an item that's only worth 300 sP in return for it, which doesn't really motivate me to do more quests, you know...?

People are really surprised that he's the wsq again? lol. I'd have be more shocked if was anyone else this weekend. I honestly wonder if the number of quests completed now are drastically less than before the nerfing. I may do some if I have the extra things in my hoard, but otherwise this quest is a huge waste of time.

It's not a full SP sink though, is it? You kinda have to buy the items out of user shops, so a lot is just still going back into the economy? :P Especially with how expensive the holiday stuff will get. I know it means you don't get money pouring in from his quests to add to it, but it's still not a 100% sink! It's a start, but yeah.

These quests have become boring. In a while they will be even more expensive, because the items he asks for will be rarer and yet he will still give out rewards worth nothing. I can't see how this has any amusement value.

If these are the "increased" prizes I can't imagine what Quentin's giving out normally! I know begging for Sag or the Wizard is pointless, but how about some Pete action? At least he's amusing.

I agree with Moltres - if they really want to get sP off the site they should have more features like the Museum Gift Shop. Quentin's quests aren't getting sP off the site - questers are just giving sP to those players who hoarded holiday items.

No not Quentin again! Why must he be the next Drunk Carl? And no they don't need to make quests sp sinks! They need to make newer better Sp sinks people will want! The Museum Gift Shop was a great idea, so why not make more Sp sinks like this?

to have nothing but profitable things on the site is the worst thing you can do for an economy.. and the economy here is on a low rate atm i, with around 1 hour time a day, made 110 million in the past week... there's seriously something wrong.. and yes i say that, although i made that much...

I agree, akela9. There was nothing wrong with Quentin before...I don't know why unecessary changes need to be made. I can understand things that really NEED changing, but not quests. They're fine the way they are...or they all are minus Quentin :S

I really used to love these quests. Now? Worthless. And obviously prizes are NOT being increased for the weekends. I really wish the team (or someone) could explain 1. The reason for the change and 2. Why/How these quests are "better", now.

Removing the Weekend Quest would be pointless as the site would be in a huge uproar. However, it'd be nice if only the profitable quests were put on as the Weekend quest.

Enterprising players have inflated prices of the old items Quentin wants to 4000sP . But when 3 (12k sP) are needed and a pink voodoo doll and 1084 sP is the reward, I know where I'd like to stick those pins!

Yup! He was switched off. Tuesday. And, it really is random! We have something like seven quests, though. (I'm really tired, don't hold me to that number). That's roughly 1/7 chance per week that each quest will get picked. That's just such a small set. Having them back to back can't be avoided unless we program it to simply not allow quests back to back, ever.

I'm starting to have trouble believing that these WSQ are 'randomly' generated given how many times we've seen the same quests back to back and some of the quests never get chosen at all.

Just did 4 of their quests and did get SP, but not nearly enough to justify doing their quests. The items I received are : Purple Skelly Corset Mini-Dress, Graymalkin, Wooden Stake, and Oozy Intestines. On the plus side, I did get an achievement for completing 25 of their quests, but I won't be wasting my SP or time on anymore of them.

Alright I gave Quentin one more try to see if these increased prizes were worth it. Lost 70k, got 18 items worth under 5k, got two "exclusive" items that are already dropping in value.

I get why people are upset about Quentin's Quests, but personally I've had nothing but good luck with their WQs. I got several awesome Super Rares (wishlist items, even) and a bunch of stuff to sell as well as most of the new WQ exclusives. For me it was no more of a moneysink than a typical day of Drills quests.. I hope people start to warm up to these quests soon because otherwise they're going to really hate it when more than half the quests are exactly like these. :P

Ah, not worth it. Tried Quentin quests last week and if those were supposed to be "increased prizes" then it's no wonder I don't bother with the regular quests. Lost SPs & got cheap junk back. Maybe Maleria next weekend?
