Weekend Quests

Carl's not my favorite. He likes to ask for reasonably priced items, and give me 200 sP in return. It makes me laugh, in an half amused, half annoyed way. But really...weekend quests are just a bonus. Not the reason I get on Subeta. And it makes me about 1000X more excited when it IS a good quest weekend, must admit. :P Also...I've found that it is possible to make a bit of profit off of almost anyone. Carl seems to be the only one who I just can't seem to beat. But then...what is one to expect from someone like him, right? Would be fun if he was a little nicer sP wise on the special weekend quests, but oh well. Let's see what happens next week! We're bound to get someone good before too long!

I never regard an item as profit unless it's been sold. :) I can make a lot more sP by selling food for these quests than doing them.

I tested it: I did 33 of 40 quests. sP wise I lost 223k. I got 30 awake items total up to 33k, and 3 sleepy items total up to 247k. So in the end, I made 57k profit. It's not much, but hey, it's profit!

So to everyone complaining instead of doing his quests, you're missing out on profit! :P

I have the map and am able to do his quests... But they don't really seem worth it, so I opt not to. :c My dislike of him being able to be the Weekend Quest isn't even because of the small rewards he gives, because I get that it can't be an amazing, highly profitable quest every weekend. It's because I feel bad for those who don't have the map and can't access him.

It seems like the people that "don't mind" him being the weekend quest are the people who can actually ACCESS HIM.

I only do his quests when he asks for one item. Especially if I can get it in the shop. So far I've done 14 and he's actually slept once. But I tend to make more money restocking his food and selling it. ^_^;

The quests aren't bad if you pick up your free galley item regularly and hoard them. Galley Link

I did 38 out of my 40 quests, got 5 'sleep' prizes and came out about 80k ahead. Sleep prizes were: and . Not too shabby.

Oh No! Oh, no! Apparently you haven't quite worked out how to get to the Omen Islands yet! I suppose you probably need to put together an unknown map! .... So, No weekend quest for me..the map is to damn expensive :P

Some of these don't seem to be worthwhile even when they have supposedly increased prizes. I've tried a few other than Wiz, Sag & Maleria and the rewards haven't been all that great, more like regular quests. We haven't had Maleria for a while.

The Libraray Quests is another one that should be taken out of the mix...unless, of course, Alexander's payoffs get upped by, like, 400% XS

This is fucking rediculous! We haven't had Saggi for ages and all we seem to be stuck with is fat, lazy, swindling Carl. I really wish that he could be taken out of the Weekend Quest mix. It'd be nice if we had MANY more Saggi weekend quests along with the Wiz, Computer Geek and Maleria.

Please take Carl out of the mix! XS
