Hey hi welcome! I'm struggling with coming up with a design for my future battle pet, Zephyr!

So I thought, 'why not hold a contest then to see who can design him?'. And I thought, "yes, that IS a great idea!"

So here we are.

Character notes: He's still kind of in development story-wise, but personality wise he is meek, and lets himself be pushed around. low self-esteem, kinda like Eeyore for a while there. He is mute due to the damage to his vocal chords, so at most he will make a raspy noise at best, but otherwise cannot talk. It takes time with being with the guild for him to find the strength to fight back. His elemental attribute is lightning/electric.

But wait! There's a couple restrictions.

*The scar around his neck cannot change!! Do not touch the lines on it. *The colors over to the right of him are the colors I think could look best, because he is a storm montre. How many colors you use, whether all of them, just three, or however you want, have at it. Get creative! Design-wise, have at it. Though remember, complex does not always mean best! *This is a ref sheet, treat it as such. No shading!

The design I choose will be the design I will use! Please don't enter a design you would not want someone else to be using. The creator will obviously get credited for coming up with the winning design!

Winnars and prizes 1st place: Design is chosen, prize is . Also my love and adoration. 2nd place: You will be given my love all the same despite not being the chosen design, and get for your trouble. 3rd place: Same as 2nd place, but you get instead If I somehow get more than 3 entries: Same as 2nd place, but a prize in the form of a random NON-CW item off your WL

The contest runs until May 26th, 2025. Probably 7pm EST is when I'll pick a winner. I mean, if I end up with only one entry, I reserve the right to consider the contest a bust and may not use the design submitted nor give out prizes. I dunno, I've never done a contest before. .-.

Is the design what's most important, or should this look like a finished project? I'd like to try because I have an idea in mind, but I'm literally working with Paint and a touch pad so it won't be as pretty as I'd like xD

Design is most important. There's plenty of time, so don't worry. ^^

I'll try to circle back and improve the art quality, but like I said I just have a touch pad and the paint application on my laptop so it's hard to colorfill well unless I take hours to do it lol. But, I still wanted to enter this because I really like this character idea and had a design in mind!
