Enchanted Gelatin Sword - I know that one just sold in shops for 100M today, but is it really the going price?

Super Slappy Jelly Hand - achievement reward for kicking the Stomper's butt, which I'm not ready for.

I don’t know if that person was looking for a quick sale, but I sold my Enchanted Gelatin Sword for 5,250 CSC (400m sP equivalent) and thought it was a fair price.

Super Slappy Jelly Hand I’d value around 200m. It’s not exciting as a weapon, but it is very useful as an ingredient for Maniacal Slappy Hand :P I’ve sold at least five of them for between 150-200m over the past several years.

I could have gotten maybe 400mil for the sword? for real?? Dang, ah well.

Yeah, 200M is probably what I would pay for Slappy Hand. I do agree that it's not exciting on its own, but I want one for my gallery. So, that one is 100% on the menu.

Please tell me that the sword is NOT the weapon you mispriced.

My reasoning for the price was: • It should be worth more than a Core (1 win vs 5 wins) • But, IMO, Purge values it less than ME and MSH because its stats are slightly less (only 115 fire block and 9% heal vs 10%) • Supreme Hydragellos was mostly beatable by T13 pets so I don’t think very many people were able to get extra copies and most will be keeping theirs • Gelly Wars only happen every few years so it’ll probably be a while before it could be released again • 5th win loot is usually achievement locked the next time it rolls around so we’ll probably only ever be able to get one more copy per person • Even though we have an overabundance of fire blockers, it does have great stats: physical blockers are in short supply, it has a great single element attack, a nice curse and blessing, and it can steal; overall great weapon

So yeah, that’s how I arrived at that price :P

I would be curious to see if anyone sold a slappy hand recently that can confirm the price. 200 mil sounds really low for an achievement locked prize that has been around a lot less time than the hydragellos maniacal core that has been around since 2011 and still somehow manages to sell upward of 300mil sP. I would expect the slappy hand to at least be valued the same, if not more around 400 mil.

Two things to note:

1. Cores are used in the recipes of two different weapons.
2. The Jelly Hands were 5th win loot the first year they were released, then they were achievement locked in the Gelly War after, so there are extra copies floating around. I don’t think they’re equal at all.

If anyone has sold theirs for more recently, I’ll eat my words :P But I personally wouldn’t spend more than 200m on one.

[edit]Oh, I just remembered I traded one for a Martenez Briefcase last year. So yeah, I’d ballpark it around 200m.

The cores have gone out through multiple methods over the years - top prizes, prize for x damage and random from the fanciful boxes for people to win multiple copies. Not including this year's war, over 400 copies of the core have gone out since 2016. No way all of those have been converted into ME and MSH, especially when the other components are tied to achievements. If anything, I would value the core as lower. Of course, not everyone sells their spares though so there is always some demand.

[edit] It was actually 200 copies of the core that went out in the last war for fighting the hydra, not overall and not including the fanciful box. It's harder to track slappy hand copies as they were never prizes for beating the hydra and extra copies were not distributed in fanciful boxes. If current supply is any indication: 17 cores are for sale, 18 if you count the recent one that sold, versus 4 hands.

How much for Maniacal Essence? In either CSC or SP?

I personally wouldn't pay more than 500mil (6,250 CSC) for one. I sold one around that price this time last year.

In case it wasn’t clear, you’re free to sell your items for whatever price you want. I’m just giving my opinion based on historical prices I’ve seen around the site.

In case I wasn't clear, I just wanted to put into perspective how rare/common these items are. I know I wasn't the only one on a hiatus or who wasn't able to aquire the hand back then. I'd expect more spares of the core than the hand to be around. And you can't make the Maniacal Slappy Hand without the Super Slappy Jelly Hand.

Right now there are three hands in the trades and 18 cores. One Maniacal Essence and no Maniacal Slappy Hand.

Technically you only need the one. It's not good as a weapon, so much so that skipped over it in the weapon revamp last year, and, to my knowledge, I've never seen anyone recommend using it; there are similar stealers that cost much less. The Core has three uses: 1. for Maniacal Essence, 2. for Maniacal Slappy Hand, and 3. it's a solid weapon in its own right.

But if it is truly as rare and valuable as you and say, I'm sure would be open to having it added to the Fanciful Box during the next Gelly War to get more copies back into circulation like he did with the Gelatin Concoction.

You do need the core to make the combo, but with how many copies are floating around from over 14 years of battling, many of the essence combos have already been made. The gelatin concoction limits the number of essence you can make, but it too has been around for just as long, compared to the slappy hand that was introduced in 2017. The number of available hands is already unequal to the number of cores, adding to it is the maniacal slappy hand that can be battled with and worn, pulling even more slappy hands out of circulation. Prior to this last war, you didnt even need a high tier pet to win a core, whereas you always needed a high tier pet to beat the stomper for the slappy hand.

To say you only need one slappy hand is highly subjective. The level of demand is very similar. Both can be worn, both can be battled with, both can be sought after by collectors, and both are needed to make the maniacal slappy hand. There are cheaper options available that block light, some that are even dropped by challengers. My explanation is not to prove that the slappy hand is rare, or more valuable, it is that both are similar gelly war prizes that fall in the same price range.
