Per your question in the last thread, I found that stacking up on attack mod crystals made Kain a lot easier. Freezing and stealing are disabled so you don’t need the protective crystals for those. Attack crystals also have a chance to activate curses (which are unblockable) for extra damage.

Another thing that might help is using weapons that have weapon disabling curses like Hand of Goddessbane or Corrupted Shadow Sword. This can help with doing more damage (since he’ll be blocking less) and taking less damage (since he’ll be attacking less).

Overall, you have a lot of liberty in which constants to use because he uses most elements (aside from dark and physical), but I think adding more attack icons via crystals helped the most.
