i use these a lot! i'd like it if more of this style of skull mask was made, since there's only the three of them on the whole site. there's a number of species that could work (a feline or avian would be a good new option imo), but what matters most to me is that they have this front-facing style with similar-sized eyeholes.

these are the only realistic bone color/texture masks that are actually worn on the HA's (whole) face that still have eyeholes of the right size and placement to use eye items normally. for example has them placed too high to be functional, and the look is more cartoony.

(i also think these should maybe be called skull masks so they work for masquerade, but that's lower priority.)

To be fair, the holes in the Bhakoru Skull aren't actually eyeholes, though it is weird that there's holes on that part of the skull (unless any paleontologists can explain why).

are the ones just under the brow not eyeholes? i know the indents lower down are like heat pits or something

the upper holes are just how the bones are structured beneath the muscle and skin of the frill. this is what a styracosaurus skull looks like:

it's just that the bhakoru skull "eyeholes" are not depicted as being hollow all the way through—so you'd have to layer eye items on top of the skull to see them.

no, i get that, that's not what i meant. i meant that the spot where eye items generally go literally doesn't work with the position of the 'eyeholes' on the mask. they sit underneath it, squished up between the snout and the higher up indentations, so wearing eyes with it at all looks wrong. by Ossuary
