As the title says subeta says it's not a valid image

also before I get asked yes, they're valid links with a img extension (.png/.jpg),

one being the image I was already using before I stupidly tried another link to see if all were rejected to find out the image I was using is not valid somehow

Are you making sure that the url includes https://?

That is strange. Hopefully a coder can pin point it. It works for forums and signature. Wonder why forum image is off

I, too, am having this issue using an Imgur image with a png extension that is within the size limits (187x230). Uploading an Imgur image worked fine a few weeks ago, but now I get the "Oh no, that isn't a valid image!" error when I try to upload a new one.

i've been dealing with this same issue since masq! the sig image works fine, but for the forum one, no matter what i do, says it's not valid. not sure if it's only with imgur, i've only tried images from there so far.

i change my images almost every time i change HAs. would looooove to have this fixed soon pls, thank u! <3

i wonder if it's a problem on imgur's end. i know they're planning to start messing around with their systems (namely mass-deleting nsfw images and anything uploaded by anyone who wasn't logged in) so i wonder if it's possible they've already pushed some preliminary changes that have inadvertently (or perhaps intentionally?) caused issues with image linking... would be really sad if another image hosting site went the way of photobucket :/

I have been having issues with Imgur with new pet profiles. The images don't want to come up. I seriously thought I forgot to do something. It has been frustrating. It could be something to do with Imgur themselves since they started streamlining their service and content?

still having issues with this! for me it's just the forum images not working. i can make do with just changing the signature around, but some feedback to this problem would be nice.

I am also having this trouble! I thought something changed with the rules on images. I can link to imgur but not post the image itself.

I came here for the same reason, having the same issues. I don't think it's imgur because everywhere else I use the images they work - just not when I try to use the forum image tab on Subeta.

Same trouble here, glad to see I'm not alone. I hope they can find the problem. [edit] Uploaded the same image to a different host and it worked. Just wanted to add the info in case it helps narrow down the problem

I think it's an imgur issue, another forum I was on was having the same issue.

Add me to the problem pool...nothing works whether is ends in png or jpg. (grumble, grumble)

I also noticed that I went to completely change my form signature, and it won't update on the forms. It's still showing the old signature.

Well just to note that is a different issue then the topic so usually you'd make a different topic for it BUT it may not be an actual issue, like did the preview update on the dashboard? if so then it is not an issue the signature takes forever to update cause of how long the cache lasts for

This is happening to me- any imgur-hosted PNG images (well below max size) are failing for me. (I only tried the right-alignment.)

Really annoyed with this bug.
