Okay, I'm sorry for posting about them twice but I just wanted to share my thoughts.
When I got my restriction, I noticed one thing - the duration of it and the info about which restrictions you got is only available in the event, that you can dismiss and never get back afterwards.
There's a game that does them like this, and it would fit perfectly with Subeta:

This interface displays everything that you need to know - the restriction details, the reason, the link to the rules and a way to contact the admins in case of appeal.
this image is not from subeta, and it is not the web developers responsibility to cater a whole page dedicated to what you did wrong. especially with rule breaking. if you dismiss an event, that's on you. if you dont like how things are done here, submit a ticket. please remember you are on subeta dot net and not whatever pet site you are trying to make subeta into.
hope this helps! :^)
I'm just...
I'm going to ask one question and I'm not meaning it to target or anything, far from, it's an honest question...
But... if Subeta is so awful and has so many flaws... why are you still here?
No support whatsoever. When you get a warning, you get a reason. When you get restricted from the forums, which does happen, you normally get a reason and you get the chance to agree again to the forum terms of use. You can appeal all warnings and most typically vanish from your account after a year anyways.

If you don't want to forget you can also not delete the event until the time is up. Yeah it would be more convenient to have a notice you can look back on, but also at that point you're the one that broke the rules and have to deal with the consequences. The restriction will still let up at the programmed time, so even if you don't remember when exactly that is you can just check by trying to view whatever it is youre restricted from.
I feel like on subeta we use this point a lot, but I feel like its definietly relevant here, making the subeta experience better for rule breakers shouldnt be a priority for the limited coding staff we have on right now. Lets work on stuff that makes the experience better for most users, rather than the few that cant follow the rules
Why should important information like this be dismissable? You might accidentally click on the dismiss button when clearing up events, and then wonder when does your restriction expire.
Uh, hang on. One sec.
You have the ability to go in and file a ticket on any one of your warnings, any one of your verbal warnings or any questions you might have pertaining to why something went sideways.
You can ask any admin through a ticket - which is NOT restricted at ANY GIVEN POINT - about when your restrictions (if any) expire. Even if you're FROZEN, to my knowledge, you can ask things through tickets and appeal.

That 's a lot of heavy restrictions. You'd be better off iced and then allowed to come back a year later to try again on a new account. xD I wanted to also ask, is there something that's happened to you before that has led to a lot of these kinds of threads? I noticed it right away personally, but was curious.
I'm just trying to figure out your angle. Cause pretty much all I've seen is "this site does this" and "this site does that" with these threads. Subeta's not perfect by any means, but I feel like it's plenty fair and you have to really fuck up big time to get banned from the forums or be frozen even. If Subeta's not your style, then leave?

I mean, there are many good things about Subeta, that's why I want to stay here. But the suggestion forum isn't for appreciating the good things, it's for suggesting improvements for the bad things.
What you consider bad is subjective. There's some things I agree on, such as forum restriction restricting ability to post but still allow seeing posts at least. But there's other stuff I simply don't agree on. If you're banned from the forums, then you don't need a reminder as to why you were in the first place. If you dun fucked up that bad, you know exactly how and why.

Since we're in the suggestion forum, I have a suggestion: one's time might be better spent appreciating the good things about the site rather than looking for things to complain about. :)
