As the title suggests, similar to swapping a pet's name with another. I understand that this would be a harder thing to do, but could it be done? The pet that I've been investing in for years is a pet that I do not feel as much of a connection to anymore. It's kind of personal but it's tied to some things in real life that upset me and become a negative experience. I won't get into it it's really not important but I'm just wondering if this is something that could maybe be done? I'd pay the money for it. I don't really battle anymore but I would love to transfer the books I've read to my actual active pet. Would be so much better than having to start over.

Inb4 "Just change the name and species." Yeah, like I have that kind of real life money to pitch at the site right now.

Also inb4 "It must have a penalty of stat loss to be fair!" How 'bout no? I'd be trading stats within my pets, reclassing a character if you will, I don't need a penalty for redoing my pets. Now, if the pet is transferred off my account for any reason then sure, I understand it then.

And last, but not least, inb4 "too difficult," aforementioned penalties for transferring pets to other players are in place, how difficult would it truly be to change it within an account? Seriously.

I'm for it. It would certainly give me incentive to work on my pets if I could shift things around some without having to pay out how much ever to do so.

Thanks for the support, and yeah the very idea of trying to switch the pets is really impossible at this point. The pet I want to change has a treasure over a thousand. It's also a spotlight winner I wouldn't want to ruin the layout and all the work put into it. Really hoping something can be done about this one day.

I haven't been on the site a lot in recent years I was unaware of the penalties when giving the pets to other people which I can totally understand. We should absolutely lose nothing if we're shuffling it around with our own pets on our own account. No reason to lose all that hard work and SP put into it.

I'm just also so tired of feeling like I have to keep working on this pet because starting over is too much.

As long as the battle record goes with the stats. Otherwise all 50+ of my pets could cycle through with my main pet's stats to get all the wins on every challenger.

Also make it a straight trade. No switching your 10k strength/defense/speed to 10k health or intelligence.

I completely forgot about the battle record but I agree. Definitely don't want it to be a way for people to cheat or be unfair in anything. Just simply switching pets that's all. (I also wasn't sure if I made it clear about books read. That is a stat right? I know you can have intelligence from other things but I would like it to go for that and food as well.)

Also would have to do something about jobs! As far as I'm aware if you have the top job, you can't get "demoted" even if your stats drop below qualifying. So, I switch my stats to my number 2 pet, the first pet is still a SAI employee at the top level, so I make a top level SAI employee and work my way across all my pets.

I don't think it would affect achievements though, a quick look through and most stat related achievements are earned when a single pet reaches a certain stat level, and you don't get more tiers or anything when another pet reaches it, so that would be okay.

High score tables might be a problem. I know stuff sometimes doesn't get removed from those tables when pets go down in stats.

Yeah if you're just trading stats between two pets YOU own, there should be no stat reduction penalty obviously. And I get not wanting to nameswap either, especially if you have a legacy name on a pet.

Yeah I explained above a bit why it would be so much work to try to switch the pets. It's not just name but it's a lot or I would have done it. It has a custom image, it's a spotlight winner, has a treasure over a thousand, etc.

Yeah I didn't think much about jobs, or high score list, but I think the high score list should just stay the same because you still worked for it.

Oh yeah, definitely. Swapping custom overlays and moving TCs and all that, it's a nightmare!

It is, and the sad thing is I still consider it sometimes but it really is impossible.
