Named after my ex who I broke up with recently, gave it a good thought and would like to adopt him out. It's a somewhat common name in germany, so I figured someone might be interested. :)

I don't want some sort of bigger process, if there's a lot of people wanting him I'll just pull a name out of a hat or something xD

I've had some inspiration simmering to make a fan pet based on a game I'm casually playing called Cozy Grove. In it, you play as a character who's helping some bear spirits work through their lingering personal burdens so they can pass on to the afterlife. Bernd would be a fun name for this pet, given the bear imagery that it evokes. Additionally, there could be an element of wordplay, given the name's similarity to 'burnt' - your character in this game has a sentient campfire as a companion, who helps you out by providing guidance and burning the logs you offer to it.
