i know bookmarks are currently broken, and has stated that he would prefer we switch to using our browsers' built-in bookmark feature, but honestly i'm going to be very bummed when on-site bookmarks disappear. i find them very useful for quickly and regularly checking in on things like subeautique and blackheart hollow, double checking that i visited the bathhouse, and getting to other pages i use frequently without needing to navigate the maps and menus. it's definitely going to interfere with my workflow (well, playflow) and i'd rather not have to have a whole browser bookmark folder just for subeta links.

Agreed. I use the bookmarks constantly. I’m on an iPad most of the day, and it’s not as convenient to use the Safari bookmarks. I like that the links I use the most are right there on every page.

agreeing 100% with this. please keep the on-site bookmarks! they are definitely handy and useful, there's quite a few here. xD and I also prefer to keep the "playtime" part away from my regular desktop/browser stuff.

The most important feature of subeta bookmarks is that it's easily accessible from any device or browser without having to clutter browser bookmarks. Got a new device sign in to subeta and your bookmarks are there no fuss or muss about it. Someone allowing you to use their device for a bit your bookmarks are accessible even there.

Personally I have too many bookmarks already, I don't plan to clutter more even if this feature is gone which will probably cause me to not check things much or at all. Probably vault special coins then letting them gather dust instead of using them since the machine is quite buried.

I enjoy them too, especially with having quick links to things like random and shop search.

I don't expect the main site appearance to change within the next 2 or 3 years, so maybe bookmarks have more time to be implemented.

I have to add onto this sentiment-- please don't get rid of the them! I have notorious issues remembering stuff. I'd probably forget my own name if left unsupervised. The bookmarks being right there really poke me not to forget important stuff and I love that.

i use my bookmarks all the time (as well as the widgets and notepad) even if they take some time to recreate i think its definitely worth it. one of the reasons i like subeta is the ease of stuff like that with alerts, bookmarks, widgets etc

hopefully new subeta is wonderful, please don't go the way of neopets and make an "optimized" layout for mobile thats awful on computers. i was a long time neopets player and that was the start of me stopping playing when they "upgraded" to the awful new layout

Just adding my support, everyone else has already said what I would say.

Mostly I'd really hate to see a feature I use daily go away. I already use my browser bookmarks for subeta stuff AND my notepad widget AND site bookmarks, all for different things and different priority levels.

Tbh I haven't used the bookmarks for years and I use my browser's bookmarks (I have a folder on my bookmarks bar for Subeta) or my notepad widget where I have important links in a spoiler code.

So I'm indifferent about bookmarks being removed since there are other, imo, better options available.

I've used bookmarks twice in the thirteen years I've been here. I'm absolutely indifferent about them.

Subeta bookmarks are a lifesaver for me; it's no exaggeration to say that I use them constantly when I'm on. I appreciate that they're easily accessible no matter where or how I'm playing, and easy to update and adjust when needed.

I'd understand if they ultimately can't make it, but I'd be gutted.

I frequently forget about certain features if I'm not visibly seeing the links in front of me, so I make pretty heavy use of my bookmarks. I do have a Subeta folder in my browser already, but I really can only make use of that for things I remember exist and need to find easily rather than activities I want to remember to do (like checking the Subeautique or BHH)

i use a mix of bookmarks and notepad, and tbh if they get rid of them then ease of play/QoL would be gone, and then the site would become a chore. a chore i am not willing to keep up with, unfortunately.

I hadn't heard that about the widgets. wth now that is definitely something I would be upset about. The widgets are one of the best features. :/

I use the widget bookmarks all the time. I hope they do stick around in the future. Using them onsite rather than through the browser is so much better.

They're something I use multiple times a day too.

Considering I am a new-ish / newer player, I do enjoy the Bookmarks as they are. The bookmarks, since I go between mobile and desktop and using two different browsers, I cannot just 're bookmark' everything, since I normally forget which ones for which, and the on-site bookmarks are a lot easier to keep track of entirely, since they do migrate between my browsers.

I hope they do stay.
