What's the worst advice you've gotten from someone on how to play subeta? I'll go first: When I was first introduced to subeta years ago, someone told me I shouldn't do quests because they use up too much sP, and Shinwa's quests especially were too difficult to do.

A few years later a friend I got into subeta ended up informing me that it is the EXACT OPPOSITE and ever since I've been catching up on quests and finally actually affording some things for my pets dsfsfsdhfsf Just thought this would be a fun thread if anyone wanted to share any bad advice or misconceptions they had about how the site works (p.s. DO ALL THE QUESTS IT'S WORTH IT)

I've been here for 17 years, 10 months, 2 weeks, 6 days. In the early days I found quests gave out far less sP than I spent on them and the item rewards were very rarely worth it. I was lucky to get my sP back by selling the items I got let alone make a profit. In the end I made all my sP from restocking.

Years later quests became worth it because the sP rewards were increased. I now make most of my sP by questing and very rarely restock.

Ahhh, so it changed! That explains it then. Still, aaa I feel like I missed out on so many opportunities by not realizing when the switch occurred

I think sometimes people give battle advice that not all battlers would agree with, for example some users factor budget and flexibility of items when giving advice, but some users like to give info very specific to one user, but I'm not sure I've ever been given outright bad advice e_e

About 11-ish years ago when I was still quite the newbie, I took a small hiatus. Upon my return I asked a (now former) staff member something I can no longer remember, and all I got for an answer was something like "so you decided to ask a random staff member that?" Must have been a stupid question lol!!!

I guess no advice counts as bad advice? XDD

I can't remember getting bad advice....maybe it's because I'm a newer player and started when the userbase became less dramatic?

Yup >D I admit I was pretty offended by it back then, and kinda felt like quitting lol! Thankfully, we have the loveliest staff members these days!
