Since the survival started, I cannot seem to get the floating item for Bird Watching (specifically ), only flowers are spawning. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just really bad luck?

yeah same I need to get the Veta Plover today and I've been refreshing at Veta for half hour already and only flowers pop up

I just wish I could opt out of finding a particular bird. After 5 or 6 hours of looking I would love the option to just give up...

You sort of can - depending on price of course, just buy the bird from a user shop (or borrow one if its really expensive).

And I have done that before. I just take one out of minion zoo and then put it back. Just a pain in the rear. :-P

Same problem! I'm looking for a Riverside Wren, and not getting anywhere. Getting flowers, no bird. And it's pretty darned expensive to just pick up. If the code could be tweaked or something, I'd be grateful.

Yeah, I'm not having any luck finding a today either. Usually the non-land-specific birds pop right up for me but I just keep getting flowers.

Same issue here - plenty of clicking around but it's all flowers, no feathered friends. I miss the birds!

This. The flowers seem to chase off the birds. Haven't spotted my Pyrrhuloxia in 2 hours!!!!

Yep. Seems bird watching is on hiatus just like snowballs. They just didn't announce it, or close it. LOL

Similar problems here, haven't found a single , just flowers floating everywhere. I'm on Windows, Opera GX is that makes any difference.

Thought I better check to see if it was just me, but I guess not. Too bad the birds have been spooked by the floating flowers.

Wasn't this the very reason why they moved Bird Watching from Spring to Winter in the first place? I think we all forgot that there was still an event during winter with floating items.
