Subeta has been my hobby for years now. I've never been incredibly involved in the community beyond a few friends I've made, but my memories of my time here are special! I'm really proud of my main pet Tel Megiddo and even more so of my main gallery: Megiddo Magicks. A workshop and library for Subetan witchcraft, with more rooms than you realize when you step inside.
But there's not really a place for it in my life at this point, for several reasons. Don't worry! A lot of the reasons are good things! And even better news: I had an absolutely enormous wardrobe that I couldn't bear to just leave locked away forever once I leave.
I tried giving them away for 1 sp each in my shop for a while but that's a bit tedious. So this will be a fun way to do it for a while instead!
In this thread, write me a little bit of prose of you visiting my workshop. That means Megiddo Magicks, found right here: url=https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/9415[/url] Write at least a paragraph or two, and express yourself! Be creative! Take a look at the gallery, describe how you make your way through this spooky place to come to me. And within your prose, include yourself asking me for up to ten specific items, from this shop: url=https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/8817[/url], and I'll put them up in a trade lot just for you. You might not get all ten if someone else asked for some of the items already! It'll be first come first served, but I'll always fill the lot up with ten items one way or another. Oh yeah, and only one post per user! Naturally!
You can find the shop where all the items are waiting right HERE. It's maxed out, and I have a ton more stuff in my vault waiting to cycle in as we go, so this will probably run for a while!
Thanks for reading, and thanks for letting me show off my gallery! And be careful in there- wander off at your own risk.
This is very generous of you thanks and gl in RL
Now to tell you about my Journey to your Workshop. Let's just say this was a almost a Normal Day. I was out one day shopping for gifts at the mall when I stumbled upon a bulletin board it had deals and what not but then there was this one notice . This one notice had a particular mysterious yet intriguing aura to it . Why you ask it felt like something calling out to me on this very notice it mentioned of a place that was Mysterious but a place that spoke of wondrous magic in Subeta. The place was called Megiddo Magicks. So I decided to take a picture of the notice. What I did not know was once I took a picture that a Map would mysteriously appear before me. This map would take me to the very place but of course the journey would also spell danger as in places so wondrous would not be so easily accessible . For there will be riddles that come to play answer right or be led astray that and places that are not what they seem to be and that goes for people also.

The day had slowly turned into night and I could feel how heavy my legs had become from all the walking I had done. I knew I should call it quits and head home, the long day was pressing on me and I hadn't had enough caffeine to last much longer. There was just one more shop on my list, I had heard from someone who had heard from someone else and so on that they carried a wide variety of items. If luck was on my side my little cat collection would be growing even more today. The last bit of energy surged through me as I rounded one more corner. There it was, Megiddo's, the lights of the store a beacon calling to me.
There they were, glorious cat gadgets and gizmos galore. I quickly sorted out the ones that interested me... [Item=Striped Party Cat Whistle] [Item=White Cat Prosthetic Mask] [Item=White Wrapped Kitten Doll] [Item=Carved blue Cat Trinket] [Item=Carved brown Cat Trinket] [Item=Cat Hairy Witch Hat]

The marsh pherret at the counter nods along at your requests, scribbling them down on a small envelope. She seals it up, hands it to you, and waves you along. Apparently if you want to pick up your goods, you're going to have to walk just a little bit further. To the edge of Shadowglen.
(Not quite the thing I was asking for but I love that you went to the trouble anyway! So I'm going to put up a trade lot for you anyway, right here: url=https://subeta.net/trade/trades.php?action=view&id=7244577[/url]
Sorry, thank you. I tried reading over the directions a couple times though I was half asleep and trying to get myself to actually get off for the night since my brain is slowly not functioning

Another day, another session of training. My pet [url=https://subeta.net/petinfo.php?petid=252672]Telemakhos[/img] and I were heading to Jim's for our daily routine, when suddenly, something caught my Neela's attention. Telemakhos jumped off the trail, and started sprinting towards a nearby forest in an excited yet curious way. I followed behind, and as we got deeper and deeper, I started growing tired. Suddenly, my pet stopped on its tracks. "What is it?" I panted. As I looked up, I noticed the strange workshop that stood before us, brimming with powerful energy. "You can feel it too, right?" I asked my pet, knowing I wouldn't get an answer. "Megiddo Magicks. What a curious name." Telemakhos rushed in. He knew that what was needed to become stronger was right there, waiting for us.
"Careful with those books," a voice warns from the side, just past the edge of the light, and as I lean in you see my leery smile. "I'm not giving those away I'm afraid. But please take your pick from any of these trinkets." url=https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/shop/8817[/url]
(Sorry, but I'm not emptying out Megiddo Magicks! ust my wardrobe! The writing is lovely though, so go ahead and pick ten items to take!)
Omg I got it totally wrong, I'm so sorry I'd like:
thanks again and sorry for the confusion
(OOC: Thank you for this giveaway and I love that you want us to put something from our heart into it. I wish you the best IRL and I hope I do this right lol)
"Just remind me not to follow Crazy next time, I'm telling you she is exactly was strange as she sounds.", I turned around as I heard a sigh behind me. My companion, Crazy whom I had recently gave a new home, often got us lost. Today her lack of direction took us to Megiddo Magicks as we walked down the alley I could hear the sign swing back and fourth screeching with each pass. Skeptic to the safety of a shop that had nearly all types of magical essences; I managed to follow Crazy out of a panic as the rain poured outside. To be honest, Our shop Meow-licious Fashion was only a few blocks away and I find it a tend unsettling I never noticed this shop before. None the less I followed Crazy into the shop.
The shop was more lit than I expected and it smelled of lavender and rose petals. We made our way down aisles finding scrolls ingredients and ancient forgotten spell books. While looking at a book, I neglected to notice Crazy had gotten into a shelf and completely knocked it down. In a panic I grabbed these 10 items and made my way to the shopkeeper to pay for my maybe damage goods.
"Hello, My pet is became a bit overwhelmed and excited by your shop and knocked over a few items. I understand a break it by it policy is quite normal to this sort of thing, could I please purchase these?"
"You may not." The answer is immediate, flat, and humorless. Apart from the sound the eerie witch behind the counter doesn't even seem to move. "You will heed the intentions of this place. If it put these things in your hands, it's because they are yours." The sill in front of the counter slides down without haste or warning, and you are alone with your things.
(Glad you had fun! Like your pet profile by the way. Your trade lot is here: LINK)
Before I knew it I found myself alone in the alley with Crazy, whom as you may of guessed was already getting us lost again. Confusion struck me like a truck and I questioned what I might have seen and wether or not it had happened. Though a quick glance at my inventory confirmed the existence of the items Crazy seemed to have fated to us. I turned around knowing that my experience was destined to happen and that these items would benefit me in my future travels, with a nod I whispered, "Thank you" to the wind.
(That was great, Thank you so much <3 I used to RP when I was a teenager so it was a bit fun to be nostalgic :D )
Megiddo Magicks, the corner shop down the alley. Ive never really gone past there but a sudden urge today led me to walk down and take a look at what it has to offer. Behold, a befitting shop for a wizard, a witch or perhaps even a normie like myself, the books the bones and all the shop has to offer, everything fascinating to like i have been in a brand new world. I never believed in magic, but after coming in i have to, so much more intrigues me as i continue to browse their wares, endless, but not meaningless. I have finally began to believe.
Happy Luminaire, and wow your shop is really filled and i think i took around 20 minutes looking through each and every item there is, maybe cause im newer i really like to browse and see which ones i can actually wear, lols.
Here is what i would like if possible ~

Strutting across the cobblestone in historic downtown Subeta, a familiar smell caught Nicole Richie nose that stopped her dead in her tracks. A small shop, Megiddo Magicks, sat on the corner....windows open as the smell of fresh potions flooded the streets. We enter the store....fresh blobs of colors never seen before bubbling away as the shop keeper greets us.
A faint ringing noise could be heard in the background. It got louder as we approached the back. We followed it around each corner until it was as loud as a drum. It stopped. A cupboard stood in its place. We open it up to find one single item as if it was calling to us. One item so Evil....it knew it had found its home.
[Item=demonic rod]
We bring it up to the shopkeeper. They seem hesitant...nervous but let out a chuckle and a grin and say:
"OH...you want that thing....well:"
......to be continued
Kildark has heard of a strange shop on the very out reaches of Subeta, said to house many exotic, rare, and sometimes odd objects and the like. All seemingly dedicated to magic and beyond. This had him rather curious, naturally, as he would have to see for himself if it were true. Not to mention just how extensive said collection had to be.
It took him three days to find the blasted place but he did it. "HMPH! Megiddo Magicks, well the name checks out." Entering the shop at a cautious pace he frowned at the smell of dust that crept up his nostrils. Odd, the shop looked clean and very well tended to, perhaps this was some kind of ward maybe? Who knows. He took his time perusing the many aisles and shelves upon shelves filled with old tomes, artifacts, trinkets, and so much more.
The entire place felt like it would never end, clearly evident that a lot of time and care went into not only maintaining this place, but making sure it was always home to any and all magics and their kin. He was not a man easily impressed but this shop keeper earned his respect, tenfold.
Thank you for the chance to write and I wish you well with life! Here are a few items I found in your giving shop. Thank you kindly!
[Item=snowman doll]
I was heading home one evening after a busy day out shopping for Luminaire gifts. I had been on my feet all day and was feeling anxious to finally head home and relax. However, as I marched through the snow, shopping bags in hand, I noticed a shop sign to my right which I surely would have missed if it hadn't been for the wind violently causing it to hit the store window. I was unable to read the sign from my distance in the dark, so I walked towards the window and attempted to peer inside, but only a blurry candle lit glow was visible through the foggy window. I felt an unexplainable desire to enter the store, despite the lateness of the hour. I pushed the front door open and was immediately drawn to the scents of dozens of gorgeous-smelling essential oils and herbs wafting in my direction. The scents of cinnamon and clove were particularly potent.
Hanging from the ceiling in the entrance of the store was a large sign which read, in fancy cursive writing, "Megiddo Magicks." It was my first time visiting this workshop, believe it or not. I asked myself, "How had I never been in here before?" There were rows of rustic-looking wooden shelves with all of the fine merchandise on display. I cautiously made my way through the aisles of items, closely examining all of the products on display; everything from crystals, herbs, extracts, scrolls, medicine and so much more. I peered straight ahead at the display of glimmering crystals and just as I was tempted to pick one up, I noticed a sign. "Do not touch." The last thing I wanted was to get in trouble for accidentally breaking anything in the shop. I quickly moved my arm back down to my side and walked over to the shopkeeper where that familiar scent of cinnamon and cloves grew stronger. I breathed the scent in deeply. It sure was comforting.
Hi! May I please have the following from your shop? (apologies if I didn't do this right or the way you wanted!!)
The letter said "get some interesting items to do magic". Interesting items? What exactly was that? Arthur asked to himself as he crumpled the paper in his hands, the long-eared, messy-haired apprentice was doing what every apprentice should do, completing his mentor's to-do list. And so he would, advancing towards what would be Meggido Magiks at first glance, one more gallery within Subeta's universe, but once the doors opened, that ancient and mysterious aspect made the lagamorph have to think again that towards that place in the middle of Shadowglen. Little by little he moved through the corridors, all the items well labeled and marked by hand, it was interesting to note that there were no electronic devices here. Not a minor curiosity for the alchemy apprentice, who seemed engrossed in a peculiar-looking potion.
[I]Bottled ....ice ..... ...UHM?! [/i]
He would not notice the presence of a Sheeta until it was too late, his butter hands would release the potion quickly leaving it in place, as if he had been caught in a forbidden act because clearly those items were important
[I]"Ah! ...I'm sorry! Did you get lost?"[/i] he asked innocently without knowing that he was talking to possibly the owner of the place.
A cream colored Sheeta, lustrous fur and elegant appearance. Well polished horns and an enigmatic aura, certainly the Kanis thought he was dealing with a pet of a responsible owner.
(I'll continue this later since I've to work xD)

The once bustling street was beginning to empty as shops started to close for the evening and the sky darkened. I wrapped my cloak more tightly round myself and paced the cobbles once more. 'I'm sure he told me 45a was the location' I murmured to myself as I walked past number 44 the bakery with a large window display of tempting treats, then the shopkeeper wheeling in the final stand of bouquets at the florists with a golden 45 painted on the shop front. I stood still and moved my eyes across the plain gray stone wall to the next door which read '46 Sission Street - J Abrams Detective Agency'. I sighed, ready to admit defeat, before raising my head to watch as the last streak of orange slipped from the sky allowing the stars to shine brighter. Casting my eyes back down I saw a door had appeared in the wall, it was three quarters the size of a regular door, with a heavy looking ornate brass handle in the middle of dark wood. I glanced up and down the now desolate street then stooped and reached for the handle...
Blinking to adjust my eyes to the dimly candlelit room I detected scents of sage and honeysuckle. Picking an aisle at random I slipped between towering shelves filled with curiosities, some familiar and some strange and intriguing. The swirling colours and patterns in orbs and crystals attracted me closer, then I gasped as I turned to face a collection of monkey paws and brains. I hurried from that section and arrived at a counter, beneath protected by glass were ancient tomes and scrolls. There didn't seem to be an attendant present but I noticed a card that read 'State your wish, up to 10 items' so I considered what I had been sent for then proclaimed: [item2=Soaking Pale-Faced Python] [item2=So Sweet Cinnamon Gloss] [item2=Sophisticated Hen Toy] [item2=Soggy Bookmark] [item2=Summit Stone Keychain] [item2=Summer Jean Shorts] [item2=Sweetheart Strapless Sweetheart Dress] [item2=Teal Snip Wig] [item2=Vampire Hunter Jacket] [item2=Woodland Following]
Thank you!
I peep in through the door at all the magic inside with awe and delight. I went to take a step inside but my pet Trust Me was more excited than I. Before I knew it I was on my butt and roaming all around the shop with squeals of delight and smile so bright was my pet. I had never seen Trust Me so happy before, like a kid in a candy shop with treats galore. So I gently got up and rubbed off the dirt and stood patiently until my pet came out. In its arms were these items, as it looked at me with longing eyes and said, "Can I keep these?".
[item=Magic Absorption: Tips and Tricks]
One by one I looked at all ten items. They were all perfect and well thought out. I told Trust Me I wasn't the person to answer that question. "One, two, three, ANY will do," Trust Me said turning towards you with pleading puppy dog eyes. You turned and walked away, I guess to think about it. A chill arose in the air and I was getting cold. Trust Me insisted on staying but insisted I go home. "I want to wait and see. I really want these beautiful things!" and gathered up the new found treasure gingerly. I turned to leave but couldn't. Suddenly a warmth arose around me, as if radiating out of the shop. Feeling warmed up I took up my place beside my pet and we both stayed together, talking and keeping each other company, until your return.
I am horrible at writing but here goes nothing.
I wrapped my coat around myself a little tighter as I quickly hurried down the shadowy alleyway on my way home from a night with friends, Normally these spooky alleyways beckoned to me and I longed to explore them but tonight was different. There was a eerie feeling in the air and things were shifting all around me, Suddenly out of nowhere a shop appeared in front of me...I thought to myself, "Megiddo Magicks, A most curious name indeed but certainly fitting." I decided to meander in and take a look, Grabbing a cart next to the door I looked on at endless aisles filled with curious shadows and various trinkets. Strolling forward I began to browse and came upon some items of interest, I began loading my cart and wandering further and further into this curious little shop...Soon I came upon a trail of papers leading to a desk with a curious little shopkeep dressed in what I could only describe as eccentric attire with a tiny monkey perched on one shoulder. I gathered my courage and approached the shopkeeper and carefully laid out the items I was wishing to acquire...
Thank you kindly shopkeep
