You might want to turn in a ticket about that!!

I agree with Senti as they said in the news "As a treat, every single previous Jaxon related minion has a chance of being found."
Are you referring to the achievement for finding the minion? If so, it's intended. Every year a new minion achievement is released and the last one retires
I know.....I provided feedback but I doubt it'll do any good :( in 15 years i've NEVER seen them retire achievements that fast !!!

They've always retired the Jaxon familiar achievement the year after the release. You only have one Morostide to get each achivement.
i'm sorry but I disagree

I mean you can disagree but it's not really a thing to agree or disagree on - it's how it's always happened. If you want to argue that they should change how they award this achievement, that's a possibility I suppose.
Oh, yeah, the new patch minion achievement only lasts until the end of Morostide. It's always been that way.

This is how the achievement is worded
Kracklen Finder
Find the newest special minion in the Pumpkin Patch! (Kracklen)
Kracklen is no longer the newest familiar, so you cannot get the achievement. You need to find this year's newest familiar (Crook) to get the achievement. Kracklen achievement is exclusive to Morostide 2020
Yeah this has always been the case. Whenever a new special Jaxon minion is released, it gets a new achievement and the old achievement for the previous minion is retired.
But considering how many different Jaxon minions there are (and assuming that staff is going to keep them all in the patch from this point on), I think it would be perfectly fine to unretire all of those achievements and let folks try their luck. The holiday is time-limited and folks generally don't spend 24/7 on Subeta. You're not guaranteed to find the minion/achievement you're looking for no matter how many times you check the patch. Sure, the minion nip helps, but it's still a matter of luck.
I see no reason why those achievements have to be retired every year though. I understand wanting to keep things exclusive and new, but I'd rather people have fun playing and trying to earn things.
Alternatively, making the wording clearer would help remove confusion around these. Include the year maybe? "Find the newest minion in the pumpkin patch (Morostide 2021)" or something.
i'm sorry, but you've been onsite for fifteen years and haven't noticed that they retire the achievement after the end of morostide? they do this for every new jaxon minion that comes out.
I appreciate your constructive criticism for this achievement. Finding and achieving past minions would be similar to purchasing past Monthly Collections. IF this were to happen for older minions, maybe save it for an anniversary year or a plot !? That'd be wonderful.

I'd agree to unretire them if there was a reward attached to them, something to put back into circulation, but I think only the very early ones have a title - the rest of them have nothing to rerelease.
So, rereleasing them just for the sake of bigger achievement numbers is kinda pointless.
- lol - Bigger achievement numbers is NEVER pointless. :P
I'm always miffed when I go look at those retired achievements and realize I only gave 5/13 completed (man, patch minions are not my friends). However do I think we need to unretire them? Nah. As Sopheroo said- only the oldest come with any reward, so they don't serve a use other than to inflate achievement numbers.
We could do a new achievement that has catching all of the minions potentially (that won't retire). Or having them all in your inventory.
So, sorry for the surprise that OP got. But this is nothing new, and certainly doesn't deserve this amount of upset.
Can confirm that the achievement has always been only for the newest minion. I think you are actually pretty lucky you've gone this long without having to worry about it.
Anyway, this absolutely isn't new, nor is it especially "fast" for a retirement since the achievement was from a year ago. I also don't really think it's so serious that it should be changed, personally
