Update: So far, my experience has been going place to place with this Blake dude in a different outfit being like "Hey... wanna fight? I just really wanna throw hands man" and he looks like a friendly guy I don't know why he would have a chip on his shoulder like this! xD

Welcome! I totally get you about the forums. They can be intimidating. I recommend the Human Avatar and Advertising forums. HA forums are fun for making friends and handing out compliments, and the Advertising forum is great for snagging a deal on some of those more expensive items.

Welcome to Subeta! Feel free to ask for any help. ^^ Blake's just a silly guy, it sounds like you've been unlocking him for the battle coliseum by exploring various lands! That's completely normal, there are some secret opponents you will unlock permanently and can fight them whenever you train up your pet. ^^

Yeah I used to play neopets as well. I found myself missing the flash games and "gameplay" of it's world which not a lot petsites have. This one is a good successor of Neopets in my opinion due to it's better navigation and content comparatively.

Agreed. Neopets has a ton of games (well, not anymore 😅), but in my opinion, this site trumps NP when it comes to customization. Also, I've only been here a few days, but the community, seems much nicer and more genuine 😋.
