Remember if speaking to another user in foreign language use smail ONLY, because its against the rules to use comment area or forums in a foreign language.
I would be happy to have this thread as a place for our subetans from other countries to receive or give help. If you are knowledgeable in English and another language please help! I would like to make a list of subetans who can help and what language they are fluent in here, BUT those seeking help only seek the help of others here, unless they/translator have communicated that they wont mind be contacted in a smail.
As a user here, I have noticed for non English speakers its a struggle to participate on subeta. Through talking with 2 ladies from Germany and , that the majority of our communication is through a translator and a lot of smails, but we persevere. I use google translation, but I just don't know if its available in other countries. I hope so it translates may languages.
Capper09 told me, that a particular problem area for her is battling her pet. She enjoys battling but it is a struggle for her to understand.
Please anyone who reads this that speaks German and English fluently, and are really into battling can you answer questions for Capper09 here.
Please any other users with language barrier difficulties, ask for help here. Maybe someone has answer or speaks your language and can help in a smail.

BATTLERS HELP
I'm not actually sure if this is the right board for this, but this is definitely a cool idea even though I'm not sure how the users might reach this board..
But! I'm happy to chip in whatever way I can, I speak Mandarin, Japanese as well as Malay!
Thank you for open this tread. Since I am here is not easy to follow instructions if a event start, or other new games. The most free translators not very good and cause of the bad translation some user no take the time to find the sense of my question, z.b. if i ask for a trade. And i no start read the rules from battle, i no live long enough to understand. It would be so much better if the site allow us to speak in our language. Is a game site, not more and all big sites allow other languages. Why not here? ( maybe is for the chitchat corner ) :)

I think this is a wonderful idea! If staff feels this isn't the best area, perhaps there could be a subforum specifically for non-English threads, with each language getting their own thread? Similar to how very large discord servers provide language-centric channels for non-English speakers. But I can't imagine how difficult it would be to start out here if I also had to battle the language-barrier. It's already somewhat non-user-friendly.
I'm not sure it will be of much help, since most Dutch-speaking people tend to speak English more fluently than I speak Dutch, but I'm fluent in Dutch (BE variety, so NL Subetans might laugh at it a bit lol) and would be happy to help out if need be (even though I'm just a newbie myself)!
I am not sure, why only English can be used here. But I imagine, it is because someone started trouble using another language or MOST likely its to make sure that staff can help users in one language. So do you mind, if I list your username in my first comment saying you are fluent in Dutch.
do any of you speak another language besides English to help subetans here on this thread. Please read first comment.
I love this idea, and it would be wonderful to have happen.
Wonderful I appreciate your kindness!
I think the reason is in case there's calling out or unnecessary drama that English is easier since it's better to decipher and with Non English Languages you can't tell if someone's being rude unless you understand the language itself or unless someone is willing to translate just saying
Looking for these : x100
I figured that was the cause of enforcing the rule, it makes since so staff can better perform there job meditating issues that happens here, between users. But there should also be away to help, users here that dont speak or read English.
Hello all!
I am a not native English speaker. And I have A2-B1 level. But sometimes it is hard, for example when I needed to write a story for spotlight I received a message that I had English problems and they could not acept it. That was sad for me. So I asked help to and she helped me :3
I want to start writing my 2nd story, but maybe I will need help with that again T.T
I am a Portuguese native.
Hi there, i'm german like dimdim and capper09. I more or less only speak my school English, which is a long time ago due to my age. If I don't understand something I use the translator from go ... gle. I don't know exactly how it works with the weapons in the Battledome. i searched through subetalodge for the right weapons for the level. I like to help when I can

Chinese is my native tongue, but I moved to an English speaking country when I was young... I'm speaking Chinese at home so I haven't forgotten it yet :D
Here is a guide for battling, where there is also a guide about weapons, if that helps.

We did have a battling guru here that was a lot of help, , but he took a break from Subeta. A lot of us in the Lair used to get battling tips from him. I think that there are also battling forum threads on Subeta where people discuss different battling techniques or ask questions. Maybe look there if you have any questions????
I just kind of go into battling using trial and error. I hope this helps.

I am a native Dutch speaker. English is actually my second language, but I've lived in the U.S. for a long time. I can help, but, yes, most Dutch people speak English pretty well :).

Might I suggest a forum group with sub group hashtags to ping for speakers and translators of each language to get together with?
It could work similar to how the No Victim Left Behind group worked during survival, except that once paired up, people would move the non-English help to s-mails to stay within the rules.
My French is sadly so rusty I doubt I'd be much help, but I'd gladly contribute to banners to help advertise the group.
Can anyone who speaks Portuguese help with his pet spotlight story? Rick I may have a friend that speaks Portuguese, I just cant remember if his from Brazil or Portugal. So I have sent him a comment. If I find he speaks Portuguese I will let you know here.
I will add both to list of helpers.
I am sure the some people think of others speaking rude in another language. But for me, who have been around many people from other countries for years I take it as have difficulty explaining answer or replying. So I never take offense, plus in person contact I can tell by their eyes or facial expression if they aren't understanding me. So I look for words with same meaning. Plus I am married to an Egyptian, and my in laws speak some English or not at all. My husband's job was dealing with people from all over the world, so I have had a lot of practice. Google translation has many nice features to help.
Oh Wow nice 3 languages. I didnt know where to post this thread, so I was hoping I got it in the right location. But if its not in the right location, or where it can be found easier. How would I go about getting it moved to the right place?
