Does anyone remember Helony, the German Subeta fansite? Well, I was the admin. I wouldn't have the time to rebuild the site and I don't think I have a backup, since my computer broke a couple of years ago. But if someone else wants to build a fansite I'd love to help with setting up a blog, wiki or discussion board and write some articles on training and battling.

Maybe it's also worth mentioning deepl which might not be perfect but does a much better job at translanting than google translate! At least, that's my experience with translations from English or French to German.

I could also help with translations to German as well as battling, but might not have as much time as some of the others here...

Danish here, but can also help with Swedish and Norwegian if necessary.

I speak Spanish, so I can definitely help. I can also assist in creating screen-reader-friendly text descriptions for any visual components, such as images, for fellow Subetans who require alternative methods.

EDIT: Also I have to say, as a longtime Subetan, that Staff really does need to formally address the fact that Subeta is difficult to access for foreign and disabled players due to the rules preventing things like using anything other than formal, academic English when typing or chatting.

Had totally forgotten it's against the rules to speak another language than English :o Thank you for the reminder! I see people have already voluntered as translators to Swedish, and I'm new to Subeta so my Subeta-knowledge might not be that much of help BUT still, if you need help with things translated to or explained in Swedish, feel free to ask me!

I am curious where are you from? I dont know anyone here who speaks arabic. I understand more than I speak out of fear of mispronouncing words, because some words are so similar or the meaning is different in some words for males and females. I am an American woman married to an Egyptian, now for 35 years and live in the states. So not much opportunity to practice speaking arabic except when we go visit his family in Egypt. I know a few hand gestures that are funny that make them laugh, because they are surprised an american knows. Like I will burn you for your behavior.
