This is a known issue with a workaround:

Sorry, just remembered -- there IS a bug with adding hair. You actually have to wear your outfit, leave the wardrobe, and then come back, and it&;ll let you change the hair.
It&;s a known issues. 😢

original problem Hopefully I can explain this well. Basically, if you click the red X next to say...eyes or hair or mouth or nose, you cannot get those base features back (or if you can I cannot find out where/how).

I had to go digging through my saved outfits to find an older HA that had those just layered beneath the base so that I could use the Salon for a hair. This is happening across browsers and devices for me (Firefox, Chrome, Mobile, Win7 Laptop). This has been happening since the new wardrobe was being offered as a solution to folks who's previous wardrobe broke (before it went live sitewide) and has never been fixed to my knowledge.

[edit] Eyes, nose, mouth can be fixed (adding new base features from the base tab) but hair still does not return.

Examples for you to test:

An outfit where I'd deleted mouth, eyes, and hair. That was "saved" with a salon hair on (Mumble) but you cannot see it anywhere. Outfit Not Found

This is my current outfit wherein I went back and found a hair/eyes/mouth having HA - I will note that while I am wearing Mumble here, I had to actually go back and 'delete' the hair that was saved on the previous HA (Legacy) as it just added a second hair layer at the top of my HA on this one (even though it didn't show at all in my list of items on the previous HA): by Reaper

If I'm missing any necessary information please let me know, I think I covered it all up there. Currently linking from Win7 laptop running the latest Firefox.

Did you try to re-add it from the Base tab (first one before Items)?

There's no option to re-add the hair layer there. I don't believe trying to re-add base features worked from the base tab either but I'll double check now.

[edit] The base features do return that way, however hair has no option on the base tab and just going into the salon and clicking add to HA did not add the hair.

Would the hair be added from the Hair tab? I don't change my HA that often, honestly, so I might not be understanding. :X [edit] Just saw your update -- do you own the hair you tried to add? I just tested and was able to add hair.

I tried to add it and it wouldn't add from the Hair tab (styled it, clicked 'add to avatar' and nothing happened. Tried saving the HA and redoing it and still didn't work, so I made the thread. I failed to check on the features themselves so I didn't realize they'd been fixed and were working again to re-add.

I had mostly forgotten in general about all of it because I don't use the base features or salon much (aside from my nose which I rarely change).

Ah dang. Okay, thank you! If it's a known issue this is an unnecessary thread then haha. Would you be able to lock it up?
