At first I thought adding a salon hair to the avatar was completely broken, but after a little testing and accidental discovery, I realized that I can add a salon hair, but the avatar has to have 0 items on it first.

For example, I was trying to build my avatar starting with as a color reference then put a salon hair over it, the salon hair was unlocked Haize, "update on avatar" won't put it on the avatar. If I take the wearable off and try to "update on avatar" again, it works.

I tested this with other unlocked hair styles and wearables from different layers and the result is the same.

Steps:

1. cleared currently worn items
2. go in the items and put on the item I mentioned above
3. go to hair salon and try to put on unlocked Haize (with default colors and everything, I didn't bother trying to color it since this was going on)

Firefox 78.0.1 Windows 7 on desktop computer (I know it's outdated, sorry)

Apologies if this is reported already. I discovered the issue last night and waited to see if anyone else would mention it first but didn't see any.

I was able to add hair with clothing on. Looks all good now!

Considering I don't even have an avatar or a worn list in the wardrobe right now (the entire left side of the screen where all that should be is simply blank), I can't say for certain, but likely so.

The issue you described below is a completely separate issue, now that the reloading issue has been fixed, I am still experiencing the issue I described in the OP and am not sure why this was locked to begin with.

If I start a new avatar and add a couple items then go to the salon and try to "add to avatar" any hair, it will not work. Nothing happens. If I remove those items and try "add to avatar" on the hair, it works.

Can this please be unlocked? It was locked for an unrelated, short-lived bug, and I asked about it over a month ago and have had no response. I cannot add hair salon hairs to my avatar unless the avatar is completely naked and I have tested this many, many, many times. And there is no longer a thread to post about it in because they all keep being locked.

I am having hair salon issues as well. I didnt take off my items just to change hair styles, but hair styles are not coming off if I try them on. They also dont seem to be changing colors once I click the update on avatar button either.

I thought it was because I had loaded an outfit with the hairstyle I wanted, so I tried to take the hair off, then re add it so I could recolor it, but it didnt come off. Bald style also did not work.

Salon is broken for me too. Also highlights do not work. Have not worked since the new wardrobe. x_x

I can't add hair unless I'm naked and the highlights are not working as well x.x

Has there been any update on this? Thanks for letting me know I can add hair when naked at least, but I still have no highlights functionality and ofc would prefer to add hair whenever.

Also, I believe we were supposed to be able to add multiple salon hair? Is it also supposed to be that the colours become the same for all salon hair you have on? That seems like an unnecessary rule.

I put on a saved outfit, changed my hair, clicked "wear" and got the positive response. Hours later I came to post, that in spite of the monocle I am constantly getting hexed. And noticed, I was still wearing the old outfit.

Now I tried again, but it won't let me put on a different hairstyle! (at least I'm wearing the outfit now, but it doesn't make me happy with the hair)

Edit next day: Hair worked again this morning. ???

Hello! Sorry to bother but I'm also facing the same issue with regards to the hair salon not loading.

I'm also having the same issue. My HA needs to be naked before I put any salon style on.
