Realized today I hadn't gotten a lizard minion event (aside from "You hear scurrying at your feet and see a lizard minion run by, seems like he has something else on his mind besides your items" in a while). Checked the bragging & complaining random events thread and looks like no one has posted getting an item from a lizard minion event since April 2020. Not sure if everyone has had bad luck lately or if the event isn't showing up at all?

I've been wondering about this too. I'm trying to get the "Capture a Lizard" achievements so I've had a Lizard Minion Trap locked in my inventory without Lizard Minion Repellent (which I'm not sure but may interfere with the achievement so I removed it) for a long time now, probably at least a year, and I haven't had any luck yet. I have 1/10 on the achievement and that one must have been many years ago because I don't even remember it. Can't say I've noticed the lizards at all in a very long time aside from the similar RE you mentioned where they just scurry by. I'm here daily and usually do all my quests so it's not for lack of page loads.

RNG hates me in general though so I never know if it's just my luck.

I also haven't gotten any of these in a long time. It would be nice to hear from staff whether this is broken or intended.

Sounds like the same issue that happened with another RE Random Events not dropping Treasure or Unknown map pieces? That RE stopped happening at April 2020 too. I wonder what happened...

I was thinking this the other day when I was reviewing what Achievements I still needed. The Lizard one is one of them.

I can confirm that the Treasure Map one was fixed or made less rare, because I have four of the less common pieces for sale in my shop now. They had remained there instead of selling at the previous no-RE-prices because this now counts as overpriced.

One possible way to test if Lizard Minion events are happening at all, is to remove both the trap and the spray from your Inventory. They are deliberately a lot more frequent when you don't have either of these items. Has anyone done this?

Actually I've gotten that Random Event today! Too bad I've never seen this thread before, otherwise I would have taken a screenshot.
