If you look at the highlighted cell, it can only be 9 horizontal and simultaneously it can only be 7 vertical - and those row/column don't have any of my (potentially wrong) numbers in them!
Seems that the hints are about as reliable as my own figuring out...

if i remember correctly, if you fill in some boxes incorrectly and then use the hint option, it won't correct your wrong answers and will instead give you wrong hints.
i plugged in the starting blue numbers into a solver, and uh. if you started from the middle section, it looks like you wrote yourself into a bit of a problem :x
Huh, it could've warned a chap? Besides, how am I to know if my part-solution is right or not? :/
That's not a "partially finished" puzzle, actually, it's a "partially undone after having an incompatible last few" puzzle. But, yes, it's the middle that keeps getting mucked up - I've re-done it using elimination method and also got something wrong in the middle within 5 moves (as indicated by a solver's results).

i went digging for the original problems/bugs thread i remembered just to make sure i was telling you the correct info -- Unwinnable Subeku??
& yeah, the hint system doesn't "know" to ignore any wrong answers (i think it should have some kind of warning but that's more of a suggestion, not a bug) but! you can use the check button to see any wrong answers as much as you want! which is not something i remembered when i saw your thread earlier
The thing is, it can't check the answer is right. It can only check if the answer currently clashes, as far as I can see - and if it doesn't (yet), there are no red results to clear :D

Since this isn't actually a bug I'm going to go ahead and lock the thread. I totally agree that a warning or note someplace on the page would be helpful -- and you're more than welcome to make a thread in Suggestions & Ideas to see if it's something they would add. :)
