With the non-unique naming system, what names did you change? :D Any you're waiting on/not sure about? A couple of mine, I'm not 100% sure about because I've misspelled them a certain way for so long...I'm just used to typing their name a certain way.

I've already renamed like ten pets: Tuo, Azrael, Malice, Ludo, Takumi, Maxim, Sergei, Ilya, Pacey, Penny The last two are my irl pets, which means so, so much to me. This is the most fun I've had on subeta in a LONG time.

All those names are special to me, and I plan to do a lot with them.

I only did a few and created one pet with a name I wanted for a very long time.

But for changes these are the ones I did:

Some of these have bugged me for years and I am SO happy! 3 year wait for Eclipse, 9 year wait for Enderman, and 5 year wait for Aeanoid! This is the absolute best day on Subeta, hands-down. Omg.

I might still change Battie to Bat, but tbh I kind of like Battie so I'm not sure yet.

Random names were just place holders with good IDs. Yay, I have all my puppy names now. Still need at least 8 more pet slots to make room for the rest.

I think another upside of this is that if you rename a legacy pet and decide you don't like the new name, you should just be able to change it back next month!

My mind is buzzing with all of the possibilities! I know one of my pets will change to Iris because that is my real name and I have always wanted that name on here.

The current pet I have now, Patamon, is a huge treasure to me. He's a legacy name. Originally he was owned by someone and I asked if they ever wanted to get rid of him please ask me first. Well eventually they did and they gifted him to me, but I sadly ended up not doing much with him. SO another person asked the same thing to me and I gifted Patamon to them. WELLLL that person ended up getting their account frozen!!

So I waited and waited until their account cleared and actually took my lunch break off from work early that day so I could sit and snatch up the name again! I'm going to treasure him always now!

Seeing my list plainly written like this, I'm surprised a bit at how many of my characters have normal names instead of obscure af RWs that barely have anything to do with them. I'm also sorting through my pets to see who I can finally get rid of, instead of holding with the mindset of "What if I come up with a character (in ten years from now)?!"

That's a very good point! I might mess around with MAC's name if I can find anything better that sticks.
