No pet spotlight news posts or alerts?

I don't know if this has been reported already, but there hasn't been a pet spotlight news post for the last 3 days. My pet Pecorino apparently won on the 22nd, but I had no idea until a user commented on my profile to let me know-- there was no news update, and I didn't get a notification saying that my pet had won. :(
It's not a huge deal, but it is kind of a bummer, haha...
same thing happened to me today. i won, didnt get a notification, it didn't get posted. Surgical won and im just really bummed because i worked so hard and was really excited to teach people about teeth. was just let down by this whole thing. i found out on accident that i won today. not great lol

I have an angel donadak of my own, Hydi.
This seems to be a pretty crazy issue; I don't see myself as pretty popular so I'm unsure anyone would comment me if one of my little guys won and there wasn't a news post.
My last win was with Myztic this month. I know you're not supposed to win again for a couple of weeks after one pet wins, but I think my cooldown time is ending soon.
Now I might have to check my 10+ nominated pets to see if any of them have won.

I hope that if it's possible people can still have their news post added, maybe 2 a day getting the ones that were missed (12 pm) and the current day's (12 am). None of my pets are nominated but it means a lot to other people.
edit: or pausing the spotlight altogether until the backlog of missed posts are up each day. I don't know how it works and if it's able to be manually paused.

I think it’s been an issue for a while, I’ve been noticing days at a time skipped. My friends pet won back in November and they didn’t know until she happened to look at his page and see the trophy.

Yeah, pausing the spotlight (if possible) until the bug is fixed would be good, or at least manually making posts for the winners who didn’t get news posts. ;;
I worked hard on my pet’s profile and overlay, and to be honest, I’m pretty upset that I didn’t... really get any recognition for it. Like, yeah, I have a trophy on my pet’s page now, but it feels pointless when nobody actually got to see my pet and the work I put in. :c

I hope this issue gets fixed. I had to check the pet spotlight page to learn that my pet
Ororo won today. I'm happy but also a little sad because I feel she has a rather unique story. But since there wan't a news post, I doubt anyone will read her story....
Kinda dampens your spirits when you've put that much work into creating a great or unique pet profile.
At least we're still getting the trophies on our pets' profiles.

Hey :) We've just finished fixing the pet spotlight code!
Please note that the Pet Spotlight will remain on pause until we are finished posting all the winners who didn't get news posts. We will continue to post one per day until everyone has got their well-deserved time in the spotlight!
Once that is done, we will resume normal Pet Spotlight operations, and start awarding new winners again. :)
