I'm still learning how to do this, but um thought i would create this little group so we can chat about tea, and whatever else we want to! <3
NIIIIICE. Thanks for making this! Hopefully we can get more tea geeks aboard but so far this is good <3
Man, it's actually hard to pick just one favourite. I like so many flavours depending on my mood. But I think my usual go-to is a spiced chai! When I want something unsweetened, I go for Japanese green teas.
I draw fluffy (and sometimes lewd?) things, give a look!
Twitter | DeviantArt | Fur AffinityNo worries! Yeah, I hope we can get others to join too, that would be so neat!
I get how you feel, I have so many favourites too, but I thought hey this is a good question to get things started haha. I definitely go by mood too.
I really love chai teas! I have a couple of favourite green tea blends too, more on the sweeter side than usual. I also love hibiscus tea.
One of my go-to teas is earl grey, or specifically a tea called Chocolate Macaroon from David's Tea, its a black tea with toasted coconut, cacao nibs, pecans and rock sugar ugh it's one of my all-time favourites!
Hey, my name is redacted but y'all can call me Ruby. :) I'm a house mom from Texas. And I don't know if I have a favorite tea. Sometimes I feel like my favorite tea is whatever I'm drinking at the moment, though I've tried some real stinkers. I'm not a huge fan of green tea, especially the powdered stuff. :( But, I do like Jasmine tea which is always green! LOL So, I suppose my favorite kinds of tea are fruity and floral. I've tried several 'smoky' teas, and some were okay. Earl grey is my go-to tea if nothing else sounds good. It's robust and perfumed. When I can just savor it, I love to just bury my nose in and really just be bathed in the heavenly steam! I nearly bought a cast iron tea pot once, but I've decided to be British, and have a nice electric kettle on the counter top.
Drinking today: Celestial Seasonings Black Cherry. It is wonderfully bright with a sour note. The color is deep red. If you add too much sugar it tastes like cough medicine... ROFL
Hey all! I'm Lynerea but I'd prefer if you just shortened it to Lynni :)
I don't really have many preferences with tea, but I really liked a set of Finnish tea that my Beau sent to me a little bit ago. Aside from that I tend to drink Yorkshire tea (Because I am amazingly British apparently) . I haven't really tried many other teas tho but I'm sure I'll get around to trying more eventually :D
hola guys it's nice to see you all here! my name is moe, i am from the midwest in The United States of America!!! im actually more of a coffee drinker im sorry im a poser xc but i hope we can be friends anyway. it's about time tea drinkers and coffee drinkers come together to fight the real evil:
ENERGY DRINK DRINKERS!!!
i do too! tea i drink to get sleepy. i might switch to tea instead of coffee soon since im on new medication that makes my heart race. HOWEVER i get caffeine headaches if i dont have a lot of caffeine everyday so i gotta ween myself off! but what kind of coffee do you like? im a columbian coffee guy myself
but yes i love fruity and floral teas as well! i used to not like very tart tea but now i do! guess that came with age!
and also DOWN WITH ENERGY DRINKS!!! they are bad for u!! i dont like when kids are chugging Monster like crazy. it'll do a number on their poor, young kidneys xc
I used to be a Barista, so I can be a little picky. Right now, we're doing a Colombian too. But my favorite is Kona blends. I have a crazy kidney and a body like a temple:, old, crumbling and haunted. Did you realize we're not 'friends' I'm gonna request you right now :) (PS I'm subbed to the thread, so no need to ping me)
Oh yeah, you can call me Gal, its Moe's nickname for me but it kinda just stuck as my go-to!
Hey Ruby! I've tried some real stinkers myself, one that comes to mind was this orange ginger combo, that sounds like it should be wonderful and warm, but it was like bitting straight into a piece of ginger, it was so bitter and sour!
Jasmine tea can be quite nice agree! I love herbal teas too that fruity and floral too! Ugh, agree I love the smell of earl grey, it is so comforting. LOL yeah, I got the British way too with an electric kettle, but I also have a stovetop one, comes in handy at times!
That cherry tea sounds lovely!
Hello! Nice to meet you! :) I've never had Finnish tea myself, but I'm sure it's great, and nothing wrong with a nice Yorkshire tea!
Aw Moe nothing wrong with that! I drink coffee too, I just happen to drink tea more hehe
(Also I don't know if you would be interested or not, but feel free to join us! <3 )
hello everyone!
i'm unfortunately not good with caffeine but i used to love matcha. lately i've been drinking a lot of chamomile and rooibos with oat milk. i got this turmeric blend with added vitamins that i'm trying to get used to but it's.. strong (':
thanks for the ping ❤️
oh chamomile is lovely! I really love this blend of vanilla, lemon and chamomile when I'm feeling under the weather! Rooibos is great too, I have some blends that I love. I haven't had turmeric tea myself, but my mom loves turmeric tea, she practically has a cup a day of it, that or peppermint!
it is, i really believe in the healing powers of chamomile! years ago i've actually healed my dog's eye infection (the vet was not available at the time) with chamomile compresses (of course i wouldn't recommend it for serious things). oooh peppermint! i've actually bought some peppermint tea but haven't had the chance to try it yet - i'll let you know!
oh wow that's amazing! I'm glad it helped your doggo! <3 <3
Yeah definitely share how you like it! :D personally peppermint tea isn't my favourite, it all depends on how strong it is, like if it just tastes like I'm mint chewing gum I'm not gonna like it lol (I don't even like mint gum)
So how is everyone doing, long time no chat! Hope everyone is doing well <3
Hello, new teafan here. ;)
My favourite tea must be a blend that my local teastore had a couple years ago. It was a delicious white tea with some high quality vanilla. Haven't been able to get it since though as it was a taste test that the owner of the store gave me as he was very happy that I visited so often. Back then the teastore was also a part 'cafe' where you could buy chocolate and a cup of tea.
But else they haev a blend i the same store called dreamtea, it is a green tea. Cant remember all that is in the blend though, but I got some left on my teashelf.
Does any of you have teacalendars for this years december?
Hello! I just saw this group and decided to join!
If I had to pick a favorite, it's a custom blend on a website called Adagio Teas, called "Luscious Rose Heart Explosion."
It's a fantastic pick me up tea, sweet, smooth and lovely, with Rose petals, lemon rooibos and I can't remember the third blend but it's good too.
Adagio has a lot of what they call "fandom blends" made by other tea lovers and based around... well, a lot of popular media and some lesser-known stuff as well.
I could gush on about Adagio, but that specific blend is one that I love the most. And the maker of the blends has done other ones which I'm slowly going through but that LRHE just hit it out of the park.
But yeah, it's nice to meet you all and I hope this little group gets a nice following behind it!
waves Hi there! I hope you don't mind my joining, but when I saw the group name, I had to come over!
My name is Gypsi, I live in East Tennessee, USA, and I am serious tea-fancier! (Remind me to show you my tea shelves sometime!)
My current favorite teas are "Breakfast in Paris", a blend of black tea, bergamot, and lavender by Stash; "Lady Grey", a blend of black tea, bergamot and oranges by Twinigs; and "Bergamot Kisses", a blend of black tea, milk and white chocolate, bergamot, caramel, and rosebuds by DAVIDsTEA. (See a trend there. . . ?)
I've also been enjoying "Christmas Eve" (an herbal blend of cinnamon, orange peel, spearmint, and cloves), and "Christmas Morning" (a blend of black tea and jasmine green tea), both by Stash.
I love black, green, and white teas, oolong, darjeeling, and herbal tisanes. I'll try any blend of those at least once!
I do not care for red rooibos (though I have a green rooibos blend that I like pretty well), lapsang sushon, or pu'erh. I've yet to try matcha; I'm really late to that party!
My go-to brands are Stash, Twinings, Celestial Seasonings, Bigelow, and DAVIDsTEA. I drink both loose and bagged -- I'm not particular.
I have one mug I like to use, a clear lightweight glass one I got from DAVIDsTEA. (Anyone else partial to just one mug?) I use an electric kettle with temperature selection so I can brew each variety correctly.
So, there you have it!
What you drinking right now? (I"m having "White Christmas" by Stash. It's white tea with peppermint and ginger. The peppermint is a bit too strong for my taste, with too little ginger. It was a sample, and I'm glad because it's not one I would buy.)
Welcome, all! I'm glad you decided to join us! <3
Oh that tea sounds so lovely! I quite like white tea myself :) Sounds like such a cute little cafe/shop! <3
No tea calendars for me, this December, but I would love to get my hands on one for next December!
Ohh I love Adagio Teas! I have gotten some fantastic blends from there too! That blend sounds delicious!
I've got a couple of fandom blends from them before too, I actually have a favourite person and artist I follow that sells blends on there! They're always so good, and on point with the character to tea is inspired by.
But yeah I feel your love about Adagio, I could also go on and on about it haha
Yes definitely show off all your tea!
That Stash tea sounds love, I've also had Lady Grey by Twinings It's really nice! If you like lavender, I definitely recommend "lavender buttercream" by David's Tea! I really like black tea too, so I feel you there lol I have so many different blends too!
Those Stash Christmas tea's sound lovely, especially Christmas eve. For myself a herbal tea right now I've been loving is "gingerbread blondie" by David's.
I haven't had any Darjeeling myself, but I definitely am willing to try anything haha
I've had a couple of pu'erh blends from David's that I've liked, same with Matcha
For me, as you might have already guessed my number one go-to brand is David's! I also like Tazo (my favourite by them being "Passion") I have Stash and Twinings as well! :) I haven't heard of Bigelow before though!
I have a few mugs that are my favourite, that I have collected over the last few years I guess lol
Also I love that idea for sure! <3
