Bigelow is an American brand, a smallish family run business that makes an amazing orange spice blend called "Constant Comment". If you ever get your hands on it, you must try it!

I LOVE lavender -- I'll have to add that to my next order!

Yes! Another Adagio lover!

I got a $25 certificate for Christmas and got quite a lot of tea with it. I still have a ton of fandom tea to try myself, 2/3rds of my wishlist is fandom teas. What's the name of the artist? I'm totally up to check them out (if I haven't already).

I get that completely. Without sounding like a commercial, my favorite thing about it is that they have such a wide variety of ingredients. One that comes to mind is the tangerines with black tea leaves stuffed in them. It was really nice to see and I'm impressed that they used an old method for tea making and introduced it to a modern audience.

My only wish is that they'd add milk teas like in Japan to the store. I think they could do wonders with it

(And as a milk tea lover, it would make buying milk tea a hell of a lot easier than it is. It only seems available in Chinese/Asian markets, which isn't bad in and of itself. The bad thing is that the closest one near me is about an hour-long bus ride both ways and you really gotta want to make the trip more than you don't want to sit on a bus for a while. It's always worth it because of how many cool things there are, but still...

Ooh! I love the Lady Grey tea! It's so sweet and soft while also having a strong flavor. It's just super easy to drink, especially on long workdays when you have a lot of stuff to do.

Yes, it's perfect for getting a bit of a pep when drinking. I savor my evening teas, but my morning tea needs to be bold!

I am completely uneducated about milk teas! What are they?

Ahh okay, I might not be able to get my hands on it then, I'm in Canada :)

The artist is Cara McGee I've been following them forever, and cannot recommend them enough!

And agree their variety is insane! Ohh I also like milk tea! I know how you feel too, the closest places to get milk teas for me are like half-an-hour to 40 minutes away, one of them being an Asian speciality store that my friend works at though, so that's kinda awesome not gonna lie.

and again, there are many different varieties and types of milk tea, such as Boba/Bubble tea, and then there's this "Hong Kong-style milk tea," and there's like "Royal Milk Tea," etc, etc. But yeah its drinks made up of different types of teas and milk (like evaporated milk or condensed milk) and other ingredients like sometimes brown sugar, Tapioca balls, etc. And sometimes different flavourings, like with Boba, such as strawberry powder. Did I explain this right? either way, it's super tasty! haha

Milk teas are a special type of powder tea, Twinings has them I think.

It's like this powder you mix with water (and milk if you want) and you get this rich, creamy flavor. I think it's similar to the powder that goes into bubble tea.

"Royal Milk Tea" is my favorite type, and the best way to make it is to put a few good scoops of the powder in with some sugar, pour in some milk and follow it with the hot water, it's like a latte without the coffee and absolutely delicious.

And can be found in asian markets since, for some reason, it isn't popular in America.

I'll look her up! If you're an Undertale fan, an artist named Deanna Durflinger did a blend for each character, and most have been pretty good, though I'd recommend Chara and Toriel the most.

I'm glad and sad that you share my pain. But it is awesome that you have a friend working there, they must get the best discounts.

Ohh I will definitely look her up, that's for the suggestion! Yeah it's amazing having her work there she usually gives me a heads up when something she know I like comes in stock lol

but man all this talk of milk tea makes me want some, and I don't have any :<

Hi I just joined!

Any type of rose tea is my favorite. It's pretty hard to find in stores but if I can get my hands on it I will without a doubt buy it. I have a whole tea cabinet filled with all sorts of stuff at home and my gf always gets me more tea if she sees a flavor she thinks I'd like, so we have more tea than we know what to do with.

the funny thing is I got rid of more than half of it when I moved last May, and somehow my cabinet is beyond full again! I don't know how that happened but it may be time to go through it all again, especially since most of the tea I drink nowadays is at work rather than home.

lol I don't find that too hard to believe, cause I'm the same way! It's hard to resist not buying new or different teas to try so they build up! I just got some new seasonal tea from DavidsTea and its lovely, and now I want more! haha, so I definitely get it!

Hi all! So sorry for the late reply! I've been busy with other games and hobbies this month and have only been on to do my dailies. I hope you are all having a great January, getting some nice items from the free shop, and enjoying lots of tea!

Thanks to and for the info on milk tea! I must check into it!

I just got a blend from DAVIDsTEA that is oolong and rose petals. ( have you tried it?) It is really delicate and delicious. I also got a coconut/almond/black tea blend from Bigelow (the US company) and it is now one of my faves!

Have any of you in the U.S. tried tea from Simple Loose Leaf? They have a monthly sampler box for $10 plus shipping and it's a great deal and their tea is really good!

I haven't but I've had other blends from them and they've all been very good. I think the one I liked the most was an earl grey with vanilla but that was from years back so idk

I love Earl Grey! Bergamot is my favorite flavor in tea, and they make one called Bergamot Kisses which I love! Stash Tea makes one with lavender and vanilla ("Breakfast in Paris") that is also fantastic if you are an Earl Grey fan!

No worries! I hope you've been having a good January too! So far I haven't had the best of luck with the free shop but oh well, it's still free haha XD

That oolong and rose petals blend sounds delicious btw!

On a different note, I got myself a nice new electric kettle! It boils water so much faster than my old one!!

Yay for a new kettle! Did you get a fancy one that heats to various temps? I finally got one of those last year and I'm SO in love with it, I can really tell a difference in the smoothness of the various teas since using the right brewing temp.
