Get the "Oh No! The link you're trying to use has expired." message whenever I click on the little cyclops plush icon for "Random ToT" on the Check Out section of the front page.
Happening to me as well, though clicking the Random ToT button on "link has expired" page seems to work.
Yep, happening to me too. The link on the news page has "expired" but clicking the "Random ToT" button on the page it takes you to has been working just fine. It's not a big deal, just an extra step, but...it also doesn't look too professional (and I hate saying that because I know y'all have been working hard!)
Same issue, link that comes up on error page works.

Same issue for me as well. Happens every time I use the Random ToT link.
Can confirm that this is still going on, even with a fresh news page, the link for a random ToT is Expired.

I have also experienced this. I thought it might have been a glitch but wasn't sure....

I think it's because the link on the news page doesn't include any special code that the link you click once it's expired does. You have to keep getting new links to generate new codes, because they expire after a certain amount of time. That part isn't really a glitch, it's to prevent people from setting up autorefreshers and things to get more ToT items without having to actually be online.
This has been going on the whole event for me so far, using the widget(?) on the right under the events header next to the news. quite frustrating to say the least.

It's just one extra click but still annoying looks like it's a very simple fix since the button that works already exists?
Yuuuuup. It was fine for a day or two but is now really flipping annoying. Can we fix this? What is the issue?
It hasn't worked once for me since the event started. I get the expired message every time.
... I guess this isn't getting fixed?

You have to click the button underneath for a new link. There's no easy way for me to link the URL on the sidebar on the news because it does time out. If you look at the URL when you hit the button, you'll see why I can't just link it.
It's an extra click, but it's better than not having any random trick or treating at all. ;)
