It's that time of year and you know what that means...it's INKTOBER! In case you don't know what Inktober is, check this site out here for more information and the rules!

Inktober is about growth and improving your art skill while having fun and challenging yourself. Post them here, show off your skills, make people drool over bread. Digital and traditional are welcome!

If your Inktober piece is Subeta-themed, it may be featured on the Subeta Instagram!

The list of prompts are also on the site, but you don't have to specifically follow said prompts! Make your own, mix and match, bop it! ❤️❤️

Can I draw digitally/make graphics/write/etc for Inktober? While I know some people are strictly about using traditional ink only, the original goal for Inktober is to challenge yourself, set good habits, improve your skills, and just to have fun! So everyone is welcome!

Can I join the group even though I'm not participating? Completely free to join! I hope you don't mind daily pings throughout the month of October. ;)

Am I allowed to post on the board even though I'm not participating? You are most definitely free to do so! Give people encouragement to motivate them to create something. It's 31 days of creation!

What if I miss a day because of _____? There is no pressure to complete every single day and you don't need a reason for missing a few days! Just have fun and work at your own pace! ❤️

Can I use a different prompt list/make up my own list/not use a list? You most certainly can! Just keep in mind that anything NSFW will probably not be allowed on Subeta forums! Refer to Subeta's rules here or you can send a ticket!

I'm going to be attempting this traditionally this year. Hopefully my phone will participate in letting me share pieces, it's also my first year with a phone so I'm still doin' a learn with it =P

Day 1 Ring

I'd like to join! When I say I'm an amateur artist I mean that very literally: I have no training and very little practice and only so-so skills. But I like drawing and this may help me get into some good habits.

Plus my pets need some attention, if for no other reason!

My interpretation of this event is that your skill level has less to do with it than just your interest in being creative and pushing yourself a little! (what you're comfortable with of course, because only you can set your own limitations! :) )

Yoo I did an ink thing before I read the prompt. But it still has rings! Also I'm using the digital Ink pen brush and avoiding any soft shading so I feel less like a cheater. u.u;

Day 1 - Ring

Hello hello, I got a smail from with some fantastic news! Rah would like to feature Inktober pieces on the Subeta Instagram, so long as they're Subeta-themed! Hopefully this gives some of you all more inspiration and possibly motivation. ;)

Day 2 is upon us and the next prompt is Mindless!

If you must know, I've decided to make this Inktober FFXIV themed, so my first drawing is on my tumblr, but i wasn't sure if it was SFW enough for subeta whoop. ;u;7

Also, I'm LOVING the participation! And to anyone feeling shy that their skills aren't 'on par', this is far from a competition! This month is all about working to improve your skills and getting into healthy art habits, so no matter where your skill level is at, we'd love to see your art and support you on your journey! ❤️

I had a lot of stuff to do today (including buying my first set of fancy pens haha) so I didn't have much time to work on today's drawing, but this is my first time participating in Inktober and I didn't want to miss the first day (it's still October 1st where I live, shh). I'm lucky if I find the motivation to draw one thing a year so I figured it would be good for me to try to do this. I normally sketch in pencil first because ink is scary but I didn't want to spend that much time on this one. So here, have a wonky scribble.

This is from a story I'm coming up with. Expect to see other pictures to do with this story as well. What's happening in this picture is a random person getting their fear removed, but of course it messes with their mind and, well, I can't spoil what happens next just yet.

Maybe not the most original interpretation of this word but I'm mainly just trying to figure out these pens. The brush one is fun!

It's a good image though. I considered that idea but didn't have the lovely composition you put together so gave it up oWo Good luck with the pens! I'm also testing out some color pens but they're all still ballpoint ;W;
