(A MINOR) Pet Profile Rule Update

We've made a minor adjustment to our Pet Profiles & Overlays rule. Pets with glitched genders (resulting in no assigned gender whatsoever--including "genderless") are now exempt from the "visible gender" requirement, and have the ability to qualify for Pet Spotlight.

Good change! But how do you get a glitched gender pet? I want one now lol
The glitch has since been resolved and did not affect a massive number of pets, but we wanted to ensure that they were not excluded from things like the Pet Spotlight. :)

I'm glad that this is no longer a requirement :) Although, this isn't really a representation thing, imo... It was more of a glitch that'd affect pet sexes. ^^; Either way, I'm really glad this was removed.
There might be other cases but, in my experience, if a genderless pet (eg, historically, an endeavor or cadogre) was zapped, and was meant to swap sexes, the icon would altogether disappear, leaving a blank space. If it was zapped again (or maybe effected by the sex changing event, I don't know if that is still a thing) I think the result was always male? But I'm not sure if that's a fact, though.
I'm not sure if the same glitch applied to steamwork pets or not, though. It was really frustrating because for a long time, the genderless berry didn't exist, so the only time to get a pet with a circle icon was to wait for a Calvin Blackmoon endeavor/cadogre event, which... well, I've been on subeta for over a decade and it only happened a few times, from what I can remember. |D
There was also a glitch when zentus where first introduced, that the first few to go out from the pools had no gender at all. It was resolved pretty quick.

and yep, Zentus were also a way to get glitched genders! it was fixed a little while after their release. fun fact even - I own the very first Zentu (now my baby Unease), adopted out to me by the very lovely ♥♥♥ Unease
